See this is why I gave up on PC Gaming...All of a sudden every time I leave a track to go back to the dashboard the game crashes, I have not changed anything no mods added nothing new from one day to the next. I have re installed all the mods, the main program and still the same...any ideas oh rF gurus?

Are you using a Fanatec wheel? I know a recent driver was causing this type of issue.

yeah...but I have been from the start. I'll look into that though. At least it is okay for racing....I think.

Are you running the game as an Administrator? If not, make that change and see if it makes a difference. I had all sorts of problems running rFactor until I set it to allow me to run it as an administrator. The game was not made for Vista or 7.

Rerun rfConfig.exe and make sure you've got DX9 shaders selected, the correct resolution and that Multiview is unselected. If you run separate mods in separate rF folders you need to run rfconfig.exe for each one that's giving you trouble.

Oh yeah, no idea what caused it, I just wiped every incidence on rF1 I had, cleaned out the registry and re installed everything.
