Small field tonight in the dirt, bt BIG changes in the points. Huge shuffle as Stinky never could get his car to stick in the dirt and was plagued by some possible finicky scoring in the mod. Mr.Diamond join the show late and rallied to an impressive 2nd place in the main! WTG on that run. Big thank you to our new comers for sticking it out tonight and the rest of the field that showed. Next event we are in the Rfn Late Models at New Hampshire's Lee speedway. These are just as tricky as the Dirt cars , but more normal in their turning/grip. But i do suggest you guys put in at least a tenth of practice time that you devote to other series to at least get an idea of what the cars are like Till next time..keep racing

5 drivers had the guts to strap themselves into the RFN Latemodels for this weeks running of the Spazcar Home Town Series. A tricky track proved to be more then a handle for a some of the drivers. Whitewolf picked up the first heat , and I snagged heat 2 and also, with a hard charge in the final green/white/checker...the Main in tonights action.
Jarhead was all about the deuce tonight, sweeping 2 nd spot in all 3 events and picking up a few bonus points listed below, as well. However the wins and associated bonus points has me just 2 points back of Jarhead, still our points leader.
The Home town series takes a mid series break to allow for some make up events in the Spazcar CTS but will return 11/27 in the Street Stocks @ Delaware. Will be interesting to see if defending race winners Ced Collins and Lawyer4Ever will make a return visit...and try to defend thier wins. til next...Keep Racing!

4 of us made the field in Florida for the DWD Home town series. Lawyer4Ever, making his first apperance in a while in the Spazcar HTS, dominated the first 2 heats and took the pole for the main event. Little bumping and a couple cautions at the end found Ian Johansen taking the win in the main while Jarhead snagging a point for fastest lap of the event. Points race is heating up. with 2 events to go. Ian only 2 points behind Jarhead will have to events to try to catch Jarhead and over take him for the championship with the next event at Delaware...and event both drivers struggled at in season 4B of the GBR series in the street stocks. Should be interesting because Lawyer4Ever had that track figured out , so will he make the event in 2 weeks and throw a wrench into the whole deal by making a sweep? And don't discount Stinky. While MIA tonight, good finishes at Delaware AND the season Finale in the Latemodels...could catapolt him to the top of the standings... still anyones series to take! See you all in two weeks at Delaware. (more then 4 people would be nice btw...just saying :
Unexpected lack of minimum participants led to cancellation of this event. Stinky & Spazsterian receive 3 points each for attendance in preparation of the nights event. Will not be rescheduled.

There will be some changes in the venue for the next season that will get underway in the new year. I'll keep you posted! Once again...thanks to everyone for racing in the Spazcar Home Town Series!
