1.9, Post - Martinsville & other things

Version 1.9 is in the downloads section. I will have the server up this weekend for us to test. If all goes well, we will switch for darlington in 2 weeks. If not we will stay on 1.7. Dave claims this is it for 2012...there will be no more patches/fixes...We will be looking for VHR 2013 sometime late January.

Martinsville - Disappointed with the turnout, pleased by some of the racing that went on. Sorry that it seemed everyone got a piece of Jarhead tonight. I know from personal experience how frustrating that can be, but then again that IS short track racing. Shit happens like from time to time, even as much as we try to race clean. Nice recovery for 3rd though after getting spun almost all night. Points up dated in the standing. Stinky & I are tied for first. Stinky getting the honours due to the win tonight (that decides a tie breaker in this case). At least we got started on time tonight and actually wrapped it up 15 minutes sooner then i planned. Guess we should have those extra 25 laps Thanks to all those that turned out. Now that summer is ending...hopefully we will see more folks...also gotta get the promo going on it to bring in more outside talent i guess. I personally am happy with a field of 10 or more. On a side note thats 2 races back to back (yesterday MX-5)now that I been clean out front and lost the race to mistakes...gotta get smarter

Replays Now that my Sammy vid is done , the V8 recap is done, I just gotta toss the new GBR Promo vid togeher and I'll get back to wrapping up the street stocks races so I can figure out who won that damn series...then get the iroc ones done too. Damn the real world work shit..lol If only i could get some real advertisers ...

Next Week Joesville in street stock for the Home Town Series then back to the trucks the week after for Darlington...

Sucks to read that the numbers were down. I had to pass tonight. I spent all day leading a workshop... by the time I got home there was zero chance I was going to maintain concentration for a race. I ended up flipping on a concert Blu-ray and zoning out for 2 hours with 5.1 music surrounding me.

I was disappointed with the turnout too but it was still a fun race. You guys that don't run this series don't know what you're missing! I felt bad for Jarhead, I think everyone got a piece of him, including me. Sorry about that bud.

I'm waiting for the version to be finialized...then you may see me pop in for the odd short track here and there. I like Martinsville...but I haven't installed another version since the first one we did testing on way back when.

We missed you too...spazcar is back on..every Tuesday. This Tuesday it's spazcar home town series , street stocks@joesville..then following week trucks at Darlington

you are right it is Rockingham , dunno wtf the i getting darlington from...Its just be one of those weeks...I was wondering why i had to add darlington to my premade track list on the server..duh sorry

I bust my butt to make sure every event is in the news ticker at the top of the forums, and that the hosts get their stuff up on the calender, even if I have to do it for them. And we still have people saying they did not know!!!!!

1.9 Server is live for testing. You will need the CTS skin pack installed as well as 1.9. Rockingham. Same password. Listed as Spazcar 1.9 Test. Just logged and cycled to race with no error. Enjoy

1.9 is a STAND ALONE install..NOT a patch... Select the Stand Alone option when installing , then copy your exe over from you 1.7 folder. Once we know it ok...then you can later delete your 1.7. I just copied my whole player folder over as well so i didn't have to make a new drvier and copied my controller ini file as well.
