Just curious if the practice server is set up with the new damage rules for this season. So far I haven't had any issues but after watching the DRM replay and seeing people popping motors, I'm a little concerned!

I believe the practice server has been set w/ the new damage for the past couple weeks. We were running it for at least the second race at the Adelaide Anniversary Race.

Actually, I dunno. I'll check it today on my coffee break. I had to move some servers around and it could be on the default 50% it always was.

You know Smokey.....you and Stinky can always slow down a little. You know, to save your car.

Nah, I had it at 0% for the first Anniversary race OK, the practice server is now at 75% damage. Go blow some motors Smokey! Actually, I doubt that will make a difference. These motors are tough. The increased damage will make contact more important though!

Damage will be set at 75% this season. Mainly I'm trying to eliminate if a guy rolls his car, he can simply keep driving. Trying to make it a bit more realistic.

Lool. There was body work and wheels flying tonight. I went nose first into a wall, tore off the front of my car and the engine caught fire.
Shit just got real, yo!!

Why stop at 75%? I say crank it up to 100%. Let's get real. It's what I like about PC racing, the realism and immersion factor.

Oh, and while we are at it, let's disable traction control, ABS, and pit speed limiter. Then we can separate the men from the boys and see who can really control their car.

Pit limiters are correct for simulation of the real series.
