Looks to be a double XP weekend going on. Been busy so missed it until today. Sorry! I'll be on in a bit (going to play some Aftermath I think) for those not doing the iRacing thing.

I was on and saw you KRG, but couldn't stick around for long so didn't jump on TS. I'm really hating this scavenger crap where you start with just a pistol. Seems that's what all servers are running now though.

I saw you as well but the server you were on had a queue going for it and I didn't want to wait. I played most of the day and gained 5 1/2 levels so it was a good day. I actually like scavenger. Gives me a great opportunity to collect dog tags by using my knife. I also forgo all the weapon upgrade stuff and just use my pistol as it really forces you to be accurate and quick!
As a side note, No Nonsense Gamers are starting up a second server featuring a variety of maps from all the different packs but the kicker is that it will be Infantry Only. So no pesky vehicles to worry about. Its only going to be a 24 slot server so maps won't be as hectic with only a max of 12 per side.
I'll post up again when the server is live. This does not change my plan to rent my own server for the crew here though. That plan still goes forward.

I have already done some homework on them. Given that I am looking at a 16 slot, unranked, private server the cost is pretty reasonable. Same for rCon, not expensive at all really. Could even go free with that but get some nice features if I pay for it.

Sounds good. 16 to me is perfect anyway. I'm not a fan of the big player servers. I like more strategery which is easier to do with fewer players.

I just got home and have the night off to recover so I'll be doing some shooting for sure. Was going to race some E92 but I guess its Skoda night... rats. But shooting is on tap!
I'm thinking the new aftermath server is now up for No Nonsense so I'm going to try and track that down and will post up a link here.
Here is the name of the server: No Nonsense Gamers - Shank Shack - HC/IO MixMode
Its infantry only but it has a mixture of different game modes.

I'll be on again tonight. I played it last night and they are still messing with the game modes to get people in the server. We played a fair bit of TDM but we also played 6 scavenger rounds back to back. Little much in my opinion but still had fun.
I've contacted the folks that run the NNG servers to find out what company they are using. I figured I can use the same company and same location server wise.
That way we have our own little server for the folks here and if NNG needs a test server for something, I can let them use it for a bit as well. It will still be our primary server though.
