Much better on corner exit. I'm waiting for some good setups from the aliens over there to get a base to work from.
However, after a couple of tweaks this is the first RWD sim car that I can steer with the throttle when needed. I'm going to have fun with this.
If a few guys want to experiment and play around, I'll host a 2 hour practice session one night this week at Philip Island.

Just ran a couple laps on Phillip Island - feels much better. Not as squirley as it was before. Definite improvement.

I've noticed a few people sharing tunes on the iR forum are just tuning this car to handle like before.  I'm sticking to the base tunes developed with SvG and Scott McLaughlin and making minor tweaks. If you guys are interested in a MX-5 fun session at Lime Rock Park I'll host a session some evening if we can decide on a night (or a Sunday AM) for it. iRacing works on a server rental-type system... $1 for 2 hours, $2 for 4 hours so it's dirt cheap but still... since it costs money, it's better to get more than a couple of guys For those of you that just signed up, the MX-5 is a great momentum car to learn how to drive in iR. If you can be fast and smooth in it then you're prepared for the faster cars. I used it to get my license all the way up to A with Fast Track promotions. |

Sunday mornings are perfect for me. Nights are tougher, but still possible. |

PTT. You'll have to assign a key and maybe select the right option for your mic in the in-game options. It's an easy setup though.
