cool mate. now i just hoped on for a look now im getting that red tinge across screen on iRacing?? wth is going on with me sli lol it never done it before... i got rid of it on rFactor now iRacing wants to do it cant win hahaha

I had a quick tour of some cars and boy it's certainly a different feel that will take time to get used to. I drove the miata, solstice, V8 supercar, and I think a SCCA radical looking car. I crashed the V8 everywhere and managed the miata quite well. It's going to be a long term project I guess. I'll jump in with you guys if I'm around for a track night. It will be interesting to see this game after all I've heard about it.

Some aspects are quite different from how we race as the server control is automatic. Turn 1 pile-up? Too bad, keep racing. Force feedback died on you? Too bad. 30 seconds late for the start? Too bad.  I missed a rookie oval race this AM because I took too long in practice. LOL. |

My first win! Two laps ahead of the 2nd and 3rd place drivers! members.iracing.com/membersite/member/EventResult.do?&subsessionid=5709976&custid=48282OK, there was some teen that decided to exact vengenance on someone and wiped out the 5 lead cars but I'd like to think SPAZCAR taught me how to not get caught in the wrecks and find a hole so there was some skill involved... and a lot of luck. Sigh, I just want out of the freaking rookie class. I thought Rookie road was bad... this is like Special Ed class. |

Whew. Job done.
I discovered that after 10:00 or so the children that race rookie oval must go to bed. So I knuckled down and did a couple of time trials and two zero incident races and got the safety rating up high enough that I'll promote to D class tonight when they do the Rookie class promotions at midnight GMT.

Give the SLI bridge a jiggle... I got weird graphics effects until I pulled it out very slightly. There seems to be a lot of slop in the connector and tab on the card.

Glad to hear it, SMOK3Y. That's the first thing I get people to check now. The specs on that interface must be +/- 1 mm.
Did my first D Class oval race tonight. There I am minding my own business trying to drive clean laps and who comes up behind me? Shane van Gisbergen and Scott McLaughlin. No pressure there!
