I tried the Caddy Cup for the first time...a car I don't exactly love, on a track (Laguna) I actively dislike. Started in the pits and made the stupid mistake of speeding so back in one lap later. That meant the leaders were soon on my tail so most the race was spent pulling over to let folk by. But made up about 7 places I think and finished with a positive SR so all things considered good enough. Seemed to have been robbed of a third at another oval I did today, I was showing third on my screen on the last two laps but the results showed fourth. Sorry your first did not go better Knight. I had a good start but got nailed by a lapper and so I had to do a pit. I salvaged a 5th place finish with positive SR and iRating. It was good to be in the same race with you. Yeah man, I spotted you on and saw it was a race I was eligible for so just clicked the wheel next to your name and jumped in, no practice with that car and track at all LOL, so I am not at all unhappy with the outcome :-)

Racingleague.nl endurace race today with Sheldon and Helios. Two hours at the Glen. It went OK for me although my pace put me in the bottom of the McLaren class. Had a spin after some guy started yammering in Czech or something (rl.nl rules are no chat) - that cost me 3:00 tow for Fast Repair. Then had a brain fade and spun again later in the race. Needed a splash of fuel with two laps to go (my error). 27/38 overall, 13/15 class.

Good work F1. Just finishing that race is an achievement.

Three more Ovals just banging away at that SR, 3.9 actually gridding now, I have got so adept at weaving through the mayhem. Still starting at the back though.

Thanks. My goal was to finish respectably. These rl.nl guys are pretty quick and seem to know how to get speed out of the McLaren. I tried hoser's tune but it was too far from my style to help me so I went back to my tune. I'll post that when I'm back at the PC.

4th in Ford GT class (slowest class) in the 2hr Watkins Glen enduro Was able to do it with no real incidents just a few minor offtracks but my average speed was pretty slow I think I benefited from others misfortunes at the start which gave me some clean running room and no real challenge for the place.

Tried getting a Prototype/GT race in both Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately there wasn't enough people to get an official race started either time. So now I'm 2 weeks in...and haven't run a single race to qualify for credits in B class. So I went and hopped in the Star Mazda...and ran my first incident free race in that car. Fast group though...couldn't even think of keeping up.

Open, I avoid Fixed series like the plague.
I think it was the time of night. 9:30pm both times. Hawks tried running the Fixed at 9pm, and only had 4 guys show up.

The Prototype races seem to have a lot of European participants. I run it early morning weekend days, when there are plenty of available participants. Sent from my HTC One X using proboards
