I had 2 more decent races last night. No major mistakes, just running my lines and trying to keep it clean. Those long races on iRacing have really helped my concentration. Lately I have been running the GT Challenge which is 45 minutes and the Grand Am Sports Car series which is 50 minutes. Takes a lot of concentration to get through those races cleanly.
With the strength of the fields we are running now, I am very happy with a 7th overall for the season. I don't know if I can continue full time with the V8s next season with my new work schedule, but I will try to make as many races as possible.

That was an epic finish on the last lap of the second race Jarhead. If we had another 50 feet of track, I would have taken you, as I got a nice run out of the last turn. Hawks, you definitely gotta include that in the highlights.  |

Congrats to Smokey on your win. Tough crowd to beat here. Just wanted to say thanks for letting me in and I think I got better each race so I'd like to keep it going when it comes back around. I would like to point out - every encounter on the track in these few races were pretty clean considering I don't know you and you don't know me. I will always try to take an understeery (what a word lol) car drift which eats tires, another dumb thing, but in the end its what gets me competitive. so, heads up - I end up sideways a lot in turns so just plan to hit me in the door up towards the front and I should be OK - its the pit maneuvers that take me out. A big shout out goes to Boza for my most memorable experience so far - last night was side by side, nose to tail, swapping positions - great job for making it count at the end. Loved it See You all sometime somewhere else!! |
