I use a FFB smoothing number of 10 for my T500RS in rFactor 2. At 0, I was experiencing a scratchy, rough feeling around the center of the wheel. At 10, the force feedback is much smoother. The T500, like the Fanatec wheels, is a belt driven wheel.

Craig, you may have to help me with your T500 settings. I finally got in and turned a couple laps and my wheel jerks badly. Left and right.

Here are my settings in the T500rs driver:

Rotation - 900 degrees
Overall Strength - 65%
Constant - 100%
Periodic - 100%
Spring - 0%
Damper - 0%

Here are the settings in game:

Steering Sensitivity - 100%
Steering Deadzone - 0%

Steering Rate - 20%
Speed Sensitivity - 0%
Look Ahead - 0%
Exaggerate Yaw - 25%
Head Movement - 100%
Steering Wheel Range - Vehicle Set (check box, make it green)
Car Specific FFB Multiplier - 2.0
FFB Smoothing - 10

This is silky smooth. If you want less FFB, reduce the multiplier. If you want smoother or rougher FFB, adjust the FFB smoothing setting.

I got in with no problem, but once I hit the race button all I have is sound and no video. I uninstalled and reinstalled and same thing is happening. Anybody else having this problem??

Yes, that happens to me when I turn off HDR. I get sound, but just a black screen.

Hmm. I do not use HDR and have no issues. Ah, being a volunteer software tester is fun!

I just enable HDR and it works fine. I get a steady 60 FPS with all eye candy maxed at 5760 X 1200. The only problem I am having with rFactor 2 are the replays. I don't get a viewable replay screen on my center screen, like we get in rFactor. Other than that, it works perfectly now. I have no complaints whatsoever. I am so glad I did not give up on it.

ya my replays are 5870x1080 sqeezed into middle screen lol

edit except 'instant' replays are fine

It's happening offline also. I'm going to turn HDR back on and see if that works.

The server will be up 24/7 for testing (especially the VMod download process). If it's down then post here. The EXE seems to crash after a few days of inactivity but that could also be because my server was autoupdating Critical patches.
