I have a feeling replays might soon show on the centre monitor soon...but don't quote me they do now just in their original 5870x1080 i really wish they would do triple screen replays like iRacing

The server has been updated to the latest build.
The following changes have been made to the event config in prep for Wednesday:
Fuel: 2x Tires: 2x Weather: Practice and Race progressing from Sunny to Cloudy and back to Sunny. Expect grip changes as the track cools and warms. Realroad: I've created a rubbered line with 20 cars running 10 laps.

Timing data for the rF2 server is being handled by the new beta LiveRacers: gonebrokeracing.liveracers.info/Live/?server=GBR%20-%20rF2%20Corvette%20testThe server crashed a few times last week and I seem to have lost the setting for 2x tires and 2x fuel so this event will be held with 1x for both since people have been practicing with that. At the next race I'll consider increasing both to 2x.

We noticed last night on the practice server 3 of us had the same parking spot in the pits, this could be a problem. I am not getting a good enough frame rate on rf2 when racing close to other people so won't be running this one anyways. I do have a bit of an upgrade planned and just got the parts yesterday, my hope is that will give me enough performance to run rf2 more comfortably on my machine. Good luck guys, have fun with the Vettes tonight.

Thanks for the heads-up on the pits. Race is 20 laps so pitting won't be needed but that's good to know if we run a longer event at a later date.

Hoping to make it fellas. Put in enough laps to know I'm starting to like it and my arms hurt. Take the multiplier down on FFB. I'm guessing the value of 1.0 means 100% and it feels real good to me in and around .5 mark. And these vettes take some time to get use to. Total different feel to me.

I don't think the tire model is finished yet for these cars. I remember some statement from ISI that an update was coming but that they wanted us to have the car now.
From my testing it feels like the tires have no flex and that we're driving on solid rubber. It really feels that way in the right/left after the long straight. Oh well, it's the same for everyone!

I'm probably out tonight. With the garage fiasco this weekend, I haven't had a chance to re-install rF2 yet. I may try tonight when I get home, but no guarantees.

I am in, for sure. Its nice to see us flirting with the next gen sims. Don't let me stay on too late, however, as I need to get some iRacing practice in after we finish tonight. I want to make a good showing in my first iRacing NASCAR series race this Saturday. Unlike hoser, kurupt, jarhead, hawks and several other GBR iRacers, I am not naturally gifted with iRacing talent.

Thanks to all that came out. We had 9 drivers take the start (almost was 10 but Lawyer had wheel problems). My PC crashed after 6 or so laps. I'm not that bothered... I was tired anyway. My primary mission was accomplished. The server ran flawlessly and was far from stressed. We learned a bit about these cars and the track and learned things aren't quite ready for primetime. I've reported that pit stacking issue so we'll see what V_LM say. I'm surprised that I haven't seen anyone else mention it. I'm looking forward to the next event in two weeks. Expect weather to be variable and a pretty good chance of rain. It might be a good idea to practice changing your tire selection while on track.

That was a nice combination. I really like that mod. I just got rf2 last week so I am still tweaking my settings. Was dropping down to 30 fps on the start. It's drive able but a bit choppy. My gpu is recently upgraded but my CPU is at the bottom end of being acceptable.
My race was going relatively well until I started getting sloppy then it went down the drain fast. Had a nice battle with Tony D for a few laps until I spun for the second time. The toe got knocked out of whack until the next spin which fixed that problem but didn't help the handling any. I finished myself off with about a 720 degree spin. Didn't hit anything but got disoriented and got busted for driving the wrong way before I realized it.
I think we could have a lot of fun with running a series with these cars. Good job everyone for a fun race.
