I am a mess! |

Just show up and drive  Learn the car and the sim. The default tune isn't horrible... just swap the intermediate tires for softs, fill the tank to max, save that setup, then click the button to make it your default. |

Good racing. Weird rFactor crash... that's the first time I've ever seen the game itself crash. Oh well, I worked up to a solid 3rd and I'll go to sleep believing I was going to finish there. |

solid 4/5th dissapointed went to pits for nothing lol but awsome race but was weird lap 39 me & Hawks both lose FFB hmmmm
but long races are awsome i reckon

Had a blast guys. First time I've ever run the Daytona Road Course and I must say I'm impressed. Tony's been harassing me to run this track for over a year! Didn't get much practice in, but it's like ridin' a bike! Overall happy with the result. I think I could have squeezed another position or 2 if I had enough fuel, but had to pit a 3rd time with just a few minutes left to get some fuel. Thanks for the great turnout, especially given that it was an exhibition event. Congrats to Fantomas, Stinky and Sweeney for making the podium. I also want to apologize for screwing up the 2nd restart and losing qualifying positions. Had this been an official race, I would have gone in and reset the grid. Given it was just an exhibition and we needed to start on time since it was a long race, we just went with it. Seems like the server held up pretty well for such a large grid, so I'm very pleased with that as well. We will be running one more exhibition in a couple weeks prior to the start of season 6. I'll get the details up shortly. |

I think I had five stops. My tires were still red by the time I pitted. I don't know how you guys made it on just a couple stops! Anyway, good fun and a great track! Absolutely love the long races! Let's do more of those!

I would like to thank everybody for all the help and encouraging words last night! This was a big deal for me. Lots of firsts. My first race with the guys at GBR who I have been following for a year due to Seahawks amazing videos on youtube. My first race in the V8 Supercars My first race at this track My first race in rfactor My first race at night (race 07 doesn't have night) My first endurance race (I usually only do 30minute races) I started 16th got all the way up to 12th and finished 16 so I am happy with that. I had a good battle with Von for a while, until I ran into him in a corner. I had the pit stop stuff worked out but still had 2 stop and go penalties for speeding (forgot to turn on pit limiter, then came into the pits too fast  ) I looked at the log file and I didn't have the fastest laps, but overall I was pretty consistent and I am really happy about that. I think once I get the car setup better I can get some faster laps. Thanks again for putting this together, it really gave me a chance to see if I can hang with the GBR guys. Winning would be nice, but if I can finish mid-pack and be consistent I will be happy with that. |

Congrats to Fantomas on the win and the other podium finishers.
I had high hopes for this race and started out good with qualy being 2nd, after the third restart I even managed to lead for a while but as the tires started to go off and darkness set in I was having issues and lost a few positions. From there I don’t what happened other than poor pit strategy to drop me all the way down as far as 10th. Gained a few back at the end.
It seems these races at night really mess me up after all the practice in daylight, and I have more night races with you guys then any others. Any way great racing again guys and a big congrats to Neverender158 on completing your first race.
