What's the secret to using the curbs without sending the car sideways?? I run similar lines and the car get's really upset.

What's the secret to using the curbs without sending the car sideways?? I run similar lines and the car get's really upset. Pick and choose which ones you decide to use. I'm an absolute curb-whore, which is why I might end up on my roof in this race, because the curbs here are MURDER... In the first chicane, aim for the curb on the left before cutting over to the right, rather than just aiming for the right side... At Turn 4, I brake heavily out of 5th gear and use the curb on the LEFT to help shove the car over to the right, you have to apex later than it feels right to do there... Turn 5 I try not to touch the curb, Turn 6 I just barely touch it on the inside... Turn 7 I try to avoid that curb like the plague, but I'll probably still end up on my roof from it...  The rest of the track, I don't touch the curbs.  |

just ran about 50-60 laps.around Adelaide. i think I'm in the ball park of where i need to be. the car handles great and those curbs got nothing for this Motorcraft Ford falcon lol!!!!  |

That first chicane looks like a straight line for him. For me it feels like I'm trying to get around in city traffic. |

If you don't mind me asking, was it on Softs? How long were you able to make them last? i made it 16 laps on a set of soft at race pace. i could push it a little harder, but whats the point of burning the damn thing to the ground. we're pack guys. let the front runners burn there stuff up and we'll be more than happy to grab what we can. its all about the championship as a whole. winning is not as important as you might think. heres my last practice as a merge lol!! |

I'm not nearly as fast as you hotlap whores, especially since I've been trying to learn use heel/toe down shifting of late, but I'll see if I can put something together.
