After this weekend's race, it occurred to me that it might be nice to switch cars from the SRF to something else after June's race. Part of that is because the SRF is just a bear to drive, even with Helios' tune. Are you guys interested in switching cars after June's race? We already have a good thing going with the monthly GT races, and so I am thinking we would stay away from those cars (Corvette, Ford GT, McLaren and Caddy). I am thinking we go with a base content car, such as the Mazda MX-5 or Pontiac Solstice. What do you guys think?

I'm diggin' the SRF but would be open to change. Star Mazda gets great reviews and would be my next car of interest so I'd vote for that as well. I know it isn't base content but if you revert to base tracks for the first 2-3 events it balances out, IMO.

SM is a blast to drive. I wouldn't mind a reason to drive it more.

I would definitely approve of the Star Mazda. I have raced it every week this season and it is a blast to drive. I can also share some tunes I have received from some of the faster drivers I have raced with. It does have some lift off oversteer, but not as bad as the SRF.

I personally am open to the Star Mazda, both because I already have it, but also because I find it amazingly easy to drive and enjoy. That being said, I wanted to be careful about going with paid content. The Star Mazda is not base content and so guys who don't have it will need to purchase it. I am hearing some consensus, but lets see if others have different views.

Don't have it but plenty of advance notice to pick it up. I am game to give it a whirl. I have finally gotten comfortable in the SFR so it makes sense to switch to something new.

I'm sure you're all sick of my raving about the Star Mazda...you know my opinion of it.

I'm sure you're all sick of my raving about the Star Mazda...you know my opinion of it. You're the main reason I got the Star Mazda and it was a very good recommendation. I have done at least one race with it every week this season. I'm not very high in the points standings, only 19th of 305 in my division. But I really enjoy it and I'm getting better with it all the time.

OK, lets go with the Star Mazda.
What tracks do you guys want to run?

Also, do you guys want to switch to the Star Mazda sooner than July? I have two SRF races left on the schedule for May and June, but I am perfectly open to switching to the Star Mazda sooner.

I can do either. I find the SRF is making me drive smooth... it's a good learning experience. The SM is all kinds of fun though.

I think we should finish off these last 2 SRF races. I've spent a lot of time getting used to driving the car, so I would like to finish up the series with it.
Glad we have decided on the Star Mazda as a replacement. It is a fun car to drive.
