I think we should finish off these last 2 SRF races. I've spent a lot of time getting used to driving the car, so I would like to finish up the series with it. ^^ This would be my preference as well. Cheers!

I can do either. I find the SRF is making me drive smooth... it's a good learning experience. It's improved my driving immensely. I'd participate a little more in the series if I had more of the tracks. I wouldn't mind finishing off the next two races. Are you going to reset the points standings when you switch cars?

Star Mazda? Open wheeler? What is going on here. And extra content...For Knight this sucks...Oh well, downloading I think you'll like this one Knight. It's got a nice balance of grip, power & downforce. It's quick, but not fast. It's got grip, more than the SRF, but not stupid levels like the F1 cars. It's got some downforce, but not stupid levels like an F1 car. I believe I've got a couple Star Mazda tunes in my Garage thread.

Star Mazda? Open wheeler? What is going on here. And extra content...For Knight this sucks...Oh well, downloading I need more feedback from you than saying that the Star Mazda selection "sucks." Don't get me wrong, I am open to that feedback, but its not helpful to stop there. Read my first post of this thread. I was advocating that we stick with base content, in part, Knight, because I know that several of us, including you, Kurupt and Spaz, don't want to expend significant additional funds on content for iRacing. I also understand and appreciate your concerns with the iRacing pricing model, which by the way, has been changed for the upcoming season with the new build coming next week. Therefore, if you look at my track record for the GBR iRacing events, they have overwhelmingly focused on base content. If you want us to continue to stick with base content, then tell us that and provide suggestions for tracks. Keep in mind that I do not get my iRacing kick out of GBR iRacing events, in part because I prefer oval racing over road racing. I do the GBR iRacing events, which require me to expend personal funds for the server rental fee, for you guys. I am trying to make as many of you happy as I can, but when I get feedback that something "sucks" without constructive additional feedback on what we can do to not make it "suck", its a little disheartening. I am not complaining, I am happy to expend the time, effort and funds, but I need you to help me make you happy. Incidentally, if my personal opinion won out, which it doesn't, we would do the Cadillac only, at Laguna, Lime Rock, Mosport, Mid Ohio, Sonoma, Summit Point and Okayama. Period. But, given the reasons I do the GBR iRacing events, my personal opinion is basically irrelevant and thus I exclude it from ultimately deciding what to schedule.

Isn't that exactly what the Caddy series does? lol I appreciate your efforts. As much as I rather not spend any more money right now I will be picking up the Glenn and now the SM. $15 here and there isn't too bad. Again, to keep it fair maybe the first couple of races should be on base tracks so folks aren't buying a track AND a car in one month. SM at Lime Rock for Race 1? Dare I say Laguna for Race 2?

Um thought it was fairly clear, I am not a fan of open wheelers and have to buy it so from a personal viewpoint it is a little sucky, bearing in mind the only time I will run it is once a month until the end of the series if my shitty internet connection lets me. But it is not a big deal and you can't keep everyone happy all the time, most are happy with the choise so ignore me dude, I didn't really wish to make a big deal of it. You are doing a sterling service mate and I didn't mean to come over all unappreciative

Star Mazda? Open wheeler? What is going on here. And extra content...For Knight this sucks...Oh well, downloading It won't be needed until July. That is why the question was asked now so people would have plenty of time to prepare and/or save up for the purchase. Then we will start with base tracks and re-use some of the tracks people already have to minimize purchases.

Makes no odds I work on a weekly budget, so this week next week it's all the same. It's more a function of the pricing model, having to buy something I will only use a few times. Like I said it's no big deal, I have the car now anyway so it's all good.

How about the Star Mazda car, with the following track schedule:
July - Lime Rock August - Laguna Seca September - Okayama October - Summit Point November - Watkins Glen December - Zolder
This way, there is only one track any would need to buy, Zolder.
