Okay I can get rid of the distortion but that leaves an angle mismatch, walls I park beside veer off at an odd angle, to make that angle look right I have to put the monitors at 90 deg to each other...so I am assuming there must be a way to set the angle your monitors are at?
Ah just seen your last post...90/45 lets say right angles LOL that seems a bit odd, who has their monitors at right angles to each other?

I believe that it's supposed to be correct for 45 degrees... half of a right angle. Your monitors will kinda look like this from the top: \ _ /
Have you set your Field of View in the graphics properties? rF stupidly uses vertical FoV in that setting which I usually set at 35 degrees. In general, if you can see all of the car's dash instruments you don't have VFoV low enough.
There is no way to specify the monitor angle in rFactor.

Hmm mine are slightly wider than that, I'll try fov I have not touched that just set it in the cockpit. But messing with the monitor I can actually move it didn't seem to come right till it was at right angles to the centre...And sorry I am mathematically illiterate they just get muddled in my head LOL angles and such like I always get wrong. Pain in the but for a bright spark like me, caused me no end of grief at school, there being no such thing as dyslexia way back then.

ok i have bought 3 identical 24" monitors www.computeralliance.com.au/parts.aspx?qryPart=13418 recieve next week now my question is do i just run 2 via DVI & 1 HDMI or do i need to use DP for one (active or not?) im using single GTX670oc and since i know quite a few here run basically the same cards.

Since those monitors don't have DP but do have HDMI then you're going to want to use HDMI for the third monitor.

Yup that is what I do well except I use hdmi for the centre monitor...by the way I seem to have sorted out the distortion I now have the wide spread I want and everything looks perfect...how? fecked if I know, just turned on the computer and everything looked right, no stretching no odd perspective on any monitor...lurvley.

ahhh lol didnt even notice DVI>DVI>HDMI cool thanks F1, just asking and reading now in preperation for the moment i get them. main reason i thought DP was needed was that i remember reading that one of the DVI & HDMI outputs are the same channel but i am wrong i see good to know. was interesting to read of lawyers trouble again & make sure i got three identical panels thanks again

Set your FoV to about 35 (or so, YMMV) in the game's graphic settings. Enjoy. You're welcome.

Yeah I had that same problem as my center monitor is connected via HDMI, but I thought the monitor was defective. I just played around with the brightness and contrast settings until it looked close to the other 2.

F1 pointed out in the Rigs thread.
