Thanks F1. I am not seeing that. I am getting a 1080p monitor and will be back to it shortly.

Its working great now. I am running at 3840 X 1024 resolution, which is not perfect, but certainly much better than what I had this morning. I set the config.exe at that resolution, and I set the minimum and maximum resolution at that resolution as well. I think that fixed the problem.

Hey guys. Operation Triple Screen went very well. I am now running triple screens in rFactor, iRacing, Project Cars and Richard Burns Rally. As you guys may recall, I started with this set up: By zero7159 at 2012-01-02 Yesterday, I upgraded to this triple screen set up, with a 32 inch Sony 1080p HDTV, a 24 inch Dell 1080p Monitor and a 26 inch Vizio 720 HDTV: By zero7159 at 2012-03-04 This set up was an improvement, but I was only getting 1024 X 768 on each monitor, which is barely HD. So, I bought an Insignia 24 inch 1080p HDTV from Best Buy and this is what I ended up with: By zero7159 at 2012-03-04 By zero7159 at 2012-03-04 So far, I am very happy with this set up. Its amazing how much more horsepower is required for triple screens. With my prior single screen, I was running iRacing at 1920 X 1080 with a solid 84 FPS. My dual 560tis did not even break a sweat. Now when I run iRacing at 3840 X 1024 (which is 1280 X 1024 per monitor), I am getting 60-80 FPS. I was a little bummed I cannot run 1920 X 1080 all around, but apparently I lack the horsepower to do that.

Looks great Craig. Now it will be impossible to ever go back to single screen. What kind of fps are you getting on rFactor now? How about rF2?

no solid evidence just anecdotal. But rFactor 2 seems to be able to sustain a higher frame rate on my system with all the eye candy on than pCARS can. Actually pCARS is almost undrivable when using 3 screens with everything maxed whereas rFactor 2 seems to still function. Both amazing looking games V8 supercars on rFactor 2 would be...

by the way, nice setup Craig Thanks Sheldon. I am still working on it. It seems to me that I should be able to get a higher overall resolution, even though running iRacing, Project CARS and rFactor 2 could be a challenge if I get the resolution higher and still want the eye candy. I think the problem is that I am running two HDTVs that have 1920 X 1080 native resolution, and my Dell monitor which is 1920 X 1200. Even at 3840 X 1024, iRacing still looks amazing, as do rFactor 2 and Project CARs.

You realize 3840 is only two screens at the monitor resolutions you are stating? With three 1920x1080 monitors you should be able to set the overall resolution to 5760x1080, this is what I am running with two 570 cards. Not sure if this helps, but in rFactor config.ini I have MinimumVidRes set to 800,600 and MaximumVidRes=8000,6000 Does your nVidia surround resolution allow you to choose 5760x1080?

I am getting triple screen, but nVidia surround does not allow me to choose 5760 X 1080. Rather, the highest available resolution is 3840 X 1024. In order to get triple screen to work, I had to set the minimum and maximum vidres in the config.ini to 3840 X 1024.

Yeah, now that I look at it, that resolution is wack. What happens if you set max as 8000,6000?
Try this as well: switch out of SLI surround (i.e., disable SLI) then back again. I have the odd weird issue (like 2nd GPU stuck at 1/2 speed) that gets solved by doing that.

I have the odd weird issue (like 2nd GPU stuck at 1/2 speed) that gets solved by doing that. When I set max as 8000, 6000, rFactor works fine, at the resolution set by Nvidia Surround, 3840 X 1024. I tried disabling SLI and then re-starting Nvidia Surround, same deal, the highest resolution I get is 3840 X 1024.

Not sure I understand why nVidia surround is not letting you set resolution to 5760x1080 Can't be GPU power related, at that point you are just setting your display resolution, nVidia would know nothing about games, etc you will later try to run at that res. Two 560's would be more than enough to power ordinary windows apps over a 5760x1080 resolution. Perhaps issue is related to what display devices you are using or what nVidia software thinks they are? What connectors are you using to the display devices? I am using DVI.

I tried doing HDMI to DVI with the monitor as well, but no luck.
