Awesome setup Lawyer. Having that fish staring at ya during the races has to be distracting though. You would think so, but it has not been a problem at all. The only issue is that the tank cuts off the far inch or so of the Dell monitor, but it does not affect the immersion at all. I have the wheel pretty close to the desk. As I mentioned last night, your set up was what I was aiming for Hawks.

is it worth going triple screens with Bonnet View? Yes. Even though you do not see the sides of the car, you do see more of the tracks and other cars that are on the side of you.

cool thanks zed, i might have to go triples baby It really changed my sim racing experience, so much so that I can no longer race without triple screens. My set up includes triple screens for PC, Xbox and PS3. For other games, triple screens is somewhat overrated. I recently switched back to single screen 1920 X 1080 resolution for my PC non-sim racing games. I was getting more real estate, but I had to turn down the eye candy.

Your monitors must support the same resolutions and sync polarity. It may take some digging to find the specs to confirm the latter.
Part of the reason this thread is 8 pages is that very issue (Lawyer had to deal with it).

ya i had a good read through mate i think im going to have to wait till i buy 3 identical monitors and get me stand for them. i just dont want to find out then that i cant do it lol i mainly want to free up tv & have monitors for for my rig If you have three displays that run at 1920 X 1080, then its worth the hassle to try and get them to work. If you end up connecting them and getting lower resolutions (i.e. - 3800 X 1024), then you will need to manipulate the sync polarity in all likelihood to get three different displays to run at the gold resolution of 5760 X 1080. Try to find out the sync polarity at 1920 X 1080 for each of your displays. It will be either +/+, +/-, -/+ or -/-. What you then do is going into Nvidia Control Panel and create a "custom resolution" for the display that is different. For example, after extensive research, I found out that my Dell monitor has a sync polarity of +/- at 1920 X 1080. Here is the spec page that told me that: support.dell.com/support/edocs/monitors/2408WFP/en/UG/about.htmTo get my triple screens to work at 5760 X 1080, I created a custom resolution in Nvidia Control Panel for my Insignia HDTV (paid $80 for it after using a gift card) at 1920 X 1080 with a modified sync polarity of +/-. Don't worry about screwing up the display, my research suggested that sync polarity changes cannot harm the display. You will need to poke around in the Nvidia Control Panel, but you should be able to get it to work. Nvidia needs to take a cue from AMD and get rid of the need to have the sync polarity line up.

Operation Triple Screen has taken a turn for the better. As many of you may recall, my triple screen set up previously consisted of three different displays, a 24 inch Insignia HDTV on the left, a 32 inch Sony HDTV in the center and a 24 inch Dell Ultrasharp 2408 WFP monitor on the right. Overall, this set up has served me well, but I could clearly see the differences in visual quality between the three displays, with the Dell of course being demonstrably better than the other two screens. Also, I was able to figure out how to get 5760 X 1080 resolution with the three different displays, but it was a hassle.
So, over the weekend, I bought a second Dell Ultrasharp 2408 WFP that replaces the Insignia, and I have another on order to replace the Sony HDTV in the center. The goal is to have three identical Dell Ultrasharp 2408 WFP monitors for my set up, and I will set up the Sony HDTV in the corner for TV viewing. I will post updates as I go.
