The server should be locked on soft... so you have no choice unless you run offline.

Oh I was running offline on inters. I will on sorts and hopefully be able to gain 2 seconds, then I won't feel so bad.

This is my first season and I have to learn the tracks, so I run offline until I at least learn the track. That way I am not in other people's way when they are practicing. Also I am slow and don't want to post a horrible time just yet.  |

Man I am not looking forward to this one... Never liked the track, but mostly because I'm going to have only one night to practice--I'm still out on vacation until Monday!  |

Finally got around to running a few laps and I think this track will make for some great racing. We haven't used this version before, but so far I like it. The rear gets very squirly around some of these corners and will require a lot of brake and throttle modulation. Have no clue on tire wear yet. Also, haven't tried inters yet but I'm sure it will be a whole different ball game there. |

Anyone else getting "pauses" on this track? I don't know the best word but its just a fraction of a second in the same spots around the track. Its just the briefest pause but its enough that its really pissing me off. I get it online and offline.

I get stutters with the GID map on but if I turn the map off it's sorta OK but I have to toggle the map on/off to get GID to display the rest of its boxes. Very strange. |

Nope, I ran a race offline yesterday and didn't notice anything weird.

I don't know about this version man. the track is real slick and the curbs are not very friendly... I think the track itself is better looking then the old one, not all sparkly, but it is bland on off track detail.
I'm going to be all over on Inters, It's slick on soft tires.
I need a good soft tune with some grip.

But to think about it, it was about the same time every lap. |

I do use GID so maybe that is it. I'm weighing my reliance on GID vs running. Right now GID is winning out.

I've got a halfway decent soft tire tune Dan. I'll be on in a bit if you are around and want to test it out. I still need to practice with inters though.
