This exhibition is to have fun in rF2 in F1 cars, but also to test to see if my server can handle rF2 hosting. If it is successful, you can expect to see a series to follow. I ask that you be patient on race day since I’m not a hosting veteran and I don’t know how well the server will do. We may have a backup plan in place so we don’t waste anyone’s time. If we have issues I may alter the lap counts so that we do not go into the Enduracers event.

NOTE: DRS works for this car so I suggest you map a button and learn how it works. This track does have a DRS zone. DRS is available at all times during practice (which is also our qualifying session). During the race, DRS will be allowed after lap 3. The detection point is towards the end of the first straight. The activation zone begins near the beginning of the second straight. The photo below shows the official map in 2012 when there was a single zone.I will confirm these points shortly. These look like the correct points but there is nothing indicating them. The lines on the tarmac don't match up to it.
Through my testing, I find a single click activates the DRS and upon lifting or braking is deactivates it. There is an LED in the center of the wheel that will be yellow when DRS is detected, amber when DRS is available (ready) and green when the flap is open. I believe you have to have HDR on in order to see the color of the LED. It will only display white if HDR is off.
I know some of you aren't huge F1 fans so I will paraphrase this wiki article in attempt to explain it to those. The article is great bathroom reading :b
The drag reduction system (or DRS) is a form of driver adjustable bodywork aimed at reducing aerodynamic drag in order to promote overtaking. The device opens an adjustable flap on the rear wing of the car to reduce drag, thus giving a pursuing car more speed and thus a greater chance of overtaking a car in front. The FIA estimate the speed increase to be between 10–12 km/h.
During a race, DRS will only work through the Activation Zone and only if the pursuing car is within a second for the car in front when both cars cross the Detection Point. The device can only be used during our race once three racing laps have been completed.
The leading car cannot activate his own DRS unless he is within one second of another car. For example, if three cars cross the detection point within a second of the car in front, the second and third car may both activate DRS.
