Just to confirm, DRS opens on the third lap. I had a run on your server, no problems. Thanks. I tested some last night and found that as well. I also found that Malaysia only has one DRS zone, which mimics last year's GP, not this year's which had two. I have to go back to see if the detection zones match the lines on the tarmac. There is a white LED in the center of the steering wheel marked DRS that will light when you are allowed to use it. However, there doesn't seem to be an indicator that tells you that the DRS is currently open. It's a shame since there is no way to know if you successfully activated it. If you press the button too soon, that is before the zone, it will not open. It seems that the LED lights upon crossing the detection zone under 1 sec behind the car in front, so it is easy to press the button before you are supposed to. I think ISI needs to make that LED multi-color or something. The required mod has been added to the first post here. The track on the server is pre-rubbered-in from a 8 lap race with AI. See you all Sunday!!

The light goes green on successful application of the button, This does depend on HDR, if it is on all the LED's are white, if it is off then they are coloured...I think I remember that right. But anyhoo if your rev light are coloured then you will see the drs light go green, if they are all white you wont

Well, shite. How do I color my world? Turn HDR on/off? I need to learn about that. Something else to play with tonight.

an alternative to push to pass (and imo far better and more racy)... Basically they open the rear wing mechanically to reduce drag (and downforce )

Damn it man, Another button that has to be used during the race in specific zones or I'll get run over. This is starting to get complicated. I drive with one hand on the wheel, nowhere near any buttons. Force of habit from dirt racing, always have to be shifting in the corners, so one hand stays on the shifter. It feels really weird to drive with two hands. And I hate the paddle shifters. Something else to unlearn and learn.

LOL. Luckily I think KERS doesn't work yet. Dan, I rarely use the flappy paddles but this is one car I have to.

HDR does make my LED light up at the cost of frame rates I have to play with all of my settings again tonight. Please read my dissertation on DRS in the first thread. I hope it is helpful to those who are not avid F1 followers. I am so happy these cars don't have KERS or I'd be typing a page on that as well!

Ian, all content needs to be placed in the Packages directory. You then use the Mod Manager to install each. In my experience, you need to have the track and car installed before you install the VMod. The one thing that caught me out is that there is a Packages folder in the install directory and one under my profile's Documents. The one my install uses is under the profile's Documents. Hope that makes sense.
