I am in the DFW area in Texas, Dan is south of me near ft. hood I believe, so between DFW and Austin DFW = Dallas/Ft.Worth for those who don't know. AKA The Metroplex! What he said, I'm in Copperas Cove, just west of Ft.Hood. AKA The Centroplex! Not making it up, that's what the area is called. It's a stretch along US190 west of IH35 that has Copperas Cove, Ft.Hood, Killeen, Nolanville and Harker Heights all so close together you don't know when you leave one and enter the other. About 45 minutes Northwest of Austin. Pretty much smack dab in the middle of the state. Ok cool. I'm just a little north of you in Minnesota.

Sorry Tony you are right. My brain has been all rF2 last week and NFL this week with the start of the season. Probably a bad sign for me for tomorrow's race. Will jump on tonight and get some practice. Dang, I haven't even thought about tire strategy yet. Doh! Err um....get back on task here guys.

::)Note to self hide new mods til off season. LOL, in this instance you might be right. Poor rF1 has been put WAY on the back burner for me. PS: Those who are able to, when the race is over I'd like those who can jump on rF2 for a quick 2 laps just to have some numbers on and see what happens. I know everyone is going to be drained after Bathurst but those who do have an ounce left can help with a quick test with numbers. Thanks.

Alright I must be blind, but I don't see the part where Hawks explains why we're deviating from the real-life schedule. Don't care that we are, of course, I'm just genuinely curious about the switch-up? Also, John Nelson has already beat Craig Lowndes' all-time lap record. Sim racing indeed!

Guess I misunderstood you John. Thought you were questioning the start time of the race still.
How are we deviating from the schedule? We are running the same order of tracks as the real V8's.

John Nelson has already beat Craig Lowndes' all-time lap record. Sim racing indeed! Unfortunately Craig Lowndes doesn't get to use Sprint tyres at Bathurst. On controls we're all about 2.5 seconds slower than his lap record
