Great to hear zed!
Iam getting my fix of the vees @ race department running 4 races a week and the fridayoung night gives me a little practice for the Sunday league.
After I jumped off the server last night I played around with the v8, 3 hrs later and 4 20 min races I was blown away by them.... the perfect hybrid of aussies v8 and dtm absolutely love the feeling of them. Excellent physics, sound and ffb
We need a thurs night series with these!

We'll see where this all leads but a series would be great. Of course, I found out today that my colleague gave his 2-week notice so I'll have to absorb his workload until they hire someone. This is the time of the year for budgets and when we open new offices so I am screwed time-wise. |

My work sched changes nov. 5th to a 4 on 4 off so there will be the odd week i miss a race.

Format: Following KJ's lead of 3 minute practice, 15 quali, 10 minute race Password: gbrefnetI also had the 5 minute Warmup in there too but was bumping it to race if we didn't need it and everyone was ready to go. As for password I used the efnet server password because I was flying those races under the Efnet Friday Night races banner, but during the week the room is under my leagues name "undergroundracingleague" but keep the password the same for consistency. Maybe we need to come up with a unified password and room name? |

The warmup is in there. We'll do the same and skip if not needed.
I made up a p/w to not broadcast the efnet one w/o John's permission and also not spread the GBR password outside of here. We can come to a common one if you rather use your group's name and not efnet.
As far as server name, let me know what you had in mind. I rather have GBR in there if it's on my server. Just cross posting it since a couple if guys aren't members here. I'm open to suggestions.

Zed if a guy jumps in most likely named kevko that's the guy I mentioned from race department....I told him we used mumble but did not give him any info since it's efnet and I didn't have time to ask permission. If he jumps in and there ok with it have the efnet guys give him a link. Iam working till 9 pm so I won't be on till 9:30ish mt

Yesterday I was able to partake in the 2 most intense close pack racing I believe I've ever been apart of, over at race department X2 20 min race with the mini cooper @ guapore......my favorite car With the usual aliens showing up I expected my typical back of the grid placement but to my surprise and others I took p4 on a grid of 25. 1 sec behind super aliens Davy and jarek I snook up 1 place to 3rd in the first corner and spent the in tire time fighting off half the pack to finish 3rd my first podium at Rd and only 5 secs behind the leader. R2 I was able to pull off my fastest lap ever a took p2, I was sitting at the start trying to figure out how I was gonna fend off the herd in turn 1 when I had a minor sound glitch and missed the horn dropping me back 5 spots...I was a bit choked but it ended up being a blessing in disguise! 8 drivers bumper to bumper the entire race swap positions cleanly, when I checked my race results I had moved between 4 and 9th 10 times finishing in p4 on a last turn pass 4th to 17 were separated by 20 secs. Checking the after race report it was filled with nothing but intense clean battles. I'd strongly suggest the mini for drop in club races as there's little to no tuning what so ever and results in close pack racing on short tracks. Next race on wed is the v8's and the bes mod in multi class.....it's gonna be ridiculous lol |

It was fun last night.
We had 8 or 10 drivers.
Some guys arrive very late to the action, so is important not start so early.
I hope you guys can join us next Friday.

From posts it looks like it's based on the Argentina tc2000 series. Finally a proper modern tc series on a gmotor engine....can't wait for this hopefully it comes in the next update with the new tm and Ffb Edit: reading the posts on the side, someone speculated the series was based on this brasilian series www.brasileirodemarcas.com.br/o-campeonato#.VFk5zvnF-IYIf it is and they have all the licenses it should be pretty damn epic and the best touring car series available on any sim! the real series runs, Fords, Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi and Chevy |
