Ok I haven't forgot or stopped planning on hosting more fun nights.
Just with real life, work and finishing one season then starting the next at EFNET I haven't been able to do anything with GSC. Literally haven't touched it in a couple of weeks but I do want to get back to it.
So keep an eye out here and I'll try to host something in the next week or so.

Sounds good mate just give me a heads up when you plan on getting things going again! Atm Iam pretty busy the next 2 weeks but come the 5th of Dec Iam off till Jan 5th  Reiza just announced a deal with steam and will be available in the coming days, steam sale starts in 2 days....If you don't have it grab it especially if it goes on sale best bang for your buck with lots of next gen sim features being added regularly! |

From posts it looks like it's based on the Argentina tc2000 series. Finally a proper modern tc series on a gmotor engine....can't wait for this hopefully it comes in the next update with the new tm and Ffb Edit: reading the posts on the side, someone speculated the series was based on this brasilian series www.brasileirodemarcas.com.br/o-campeonato#.VFk5zvnF-IYIf it is and they have all the licenses it should be pretty damn epic and the best touring car series available on any sim! the real series runs, Fords, Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi and Chevy This is available for download FOR FREE!!! Cant wait to try this........REIZA!!!!! sadly I have to work all weekend  Edit: How exactly do you get this game running? it keeps asking me for a disk install when i point it at the bin file it keeps failing? I read theres a bug with win 8.1 when launching a race, from what i read theres 4 cars 6 tracks a seperate game from GSCX no multiplayer or mod abilty. Not sure why they didnt just make this an addon to GSC? |

6 tracks but no new ones just the cars.....someone over at race department is all ready looking into taking the car files and creating an rfm to see if they can be put into gsc.
@ Zed have you got yours working?
i have downloaded the 2 files Macras_V101_setup.exe 520kb and the bin file 1.7gb when i run the setup its fine than i come to screen that says insert disk or select the file from your computer. When I select the file from my download section it gives me an error saying the marcas file can not be located?
do i have to extract the contents of macras_v101_setup.bin file to a folder?
if so what program is needed to do that? 7zip, winrar?
and what format should that files default be....mine has the notepad emblem beside it when i try to open the file it says its too large for notepad to open.

I downloaded both files and ran the exe from the downloads folder. Installed straight away. When it finished installing it brought up the config window that rFactor uses. Ran straight away from there. I ran some laps and it is GSC quality. I didn't even notice that there was no multiplayer. That makes it useless for me as I hate running against AI. Hope someone figures out how to add it to GSC.

BIN files are just binary storage files that the installer EXE uses. If EXE and BIN are in the same directory but the install isn't happening automatically then one or both of the files is corrupted or perhaps you need to run the EXE as administrator.

Thnx f1 I'll give it a go when I get home.
Apparently an update is coming and multiplayer as well.....How I see things snice the 2 games run on the same engine by the same company a copy and paste with an rfm should allow the content to work in gsc unless the files are locked.

It installed no problem for me. The only thing is I just can't get into the RF1 type of sims anymore. While GSC is very good, and this one is pretty good also, I don't see myself driving either RF1,GSC or this one.

Altho gsc runs on the same engine as rf1 niels and the guys at reiza have added alot of code and continue to add features, the next update will bring alot of new features to give it a more modern sim experience. Visual tire wear, graining, wing flex new tm are a few. Weather and track rubbering have be mentioned down the road so hopefully this title will eventually be the Brazilian rf2 I could be mistaken but Iam pretty sure every sim on the market underlying core is based on the gmotor 2 engine Iam not exactly sure what the base engine is being used but neils has a platform developed to help driver development and is working with many teams at different levels of the racing world. www.h-engineering.net/products/advanced-vehicle-simulation/ |

I downloaded and tested.
Graphically Reiza quality, which is good.
Now the physics I was impressed. It does not drive like any of the Mods to GSCE.
It feels extremely authentic.
Those cars are font wheelers. So the tendency is the front tires overheat, and the rears stay cold. Thats why you feel the back end so loose at first. You have to adjust the driving style.
It is not like the WTCC Mods to rFactor in which all you get is extreme understeer. Those cars really feels like real life!
Is for free! Is small in size than the Endurance Series Mod, for instance. So only positives.
If indeed they come up with Multiplayer, that would be an excelent choice for a few series!

I got it working with f1's advice....thnx! For those with win 8.1 you might get a crash when launching, the solution is creating an empty rfm folder in the main directory and running the Marcas sync tool and that will solve any issues. Game wise the cars are excellent and a blast to drive I tried copying the files to gsc but couldn't get it too work but Iam sure it will only be a matter of time till someone figures it out or reiza adds multiplayer. A few missing features but no game breakers.....plus it's free how can I really com plain lol |
