Both home and server are non-Steam.
After reboots, both my home and server installs are screwed right now. We may have to wait a day to see if a solution is posted. That's more than a coincidence...

I don't use steam for GSC, and I don't plan on using steam at all.
After I updated to v1.50, GSC wouldn't even start. I rebooted and then it started up fine. Now it seems fine. I even got all my plugins working too.

FYI, the server is crashing on launch after this upgrade. No need to let us know it's not up. Hawks or I will post when things are fixed.

I'm not having that problem, It seems to be working fine, except I don't see the same SuperV8 cars as I did with v1.38. I'm just wondering if all those cars Dan painted are going to work with v1.50. They better!! I don't have the time to redo all that stuff. |

I updated all my installs just now, one Steam and 2 non Steam, and all seems to work fine.
I only took care of delete and create new user profiles and do the proper back up of my personal settings.
No crashes, black screens or anything for now.
On my messed instalation with third party mods, indeed some of them are missing now...which was expected.
But I tested 3 add ons tracks, not default, and they worked with no problems.
So far so good on my side.

I had no problems with the update (Non Steam version) and all I did was delete the entire UserData file before install.
Of course now I have to completely redo my wheel, but it's running fine so far.

Same here. I deleted the user folder and launched and it started fine.

Disregard my earlier post about not seeing the V8Supercars. They are there lol. I tried putting the car Dan did for me in the game, but it isn't showing up. Maybe I have it in the wrong place. Not sure. It did work in my other install that is not updated.

Not sure. It did work in my other install that is not updated. Nope, they changed one line in the .veh file, that is why you don't see it. I'm editing my post about the .veh file now. If you open your .veh file Scott, close to the bottom you will see a line that has "reiza21" in it, change that to "SuperV8" and save it. Note pad will open the file. |

I am still getting a black screen when i escape from the car even after i rebooted. I will see if others are having this.

In regards to launching the dedicated server, I read somewhere that you it's best to launch directly from your gsc folder and to not use any short cuts till they sort it.

I decided to pop into Reiza's Facebook page and there were complaints about the same thing. The solution is to delete LOG and Plugins folders then re-run Sync.
Sigh... this Sync thing has fucked me twice now on a stock install.

Just configured the server and it's online. Please be sure to try joining it well before race day so we don't have issues with guys getting mismatches. Thank you.
