The PS3 remains a capable machine. As far as longevity, it is the best console I have ever owned. Even though it is almost seven years old, it is still capable of jaw dropping visuals. My "fat" PS3 that I bought in December 2006 is still alive and kicking and will likely be used for another 2-3 years, until GT7 for PS4 is released. The latest examples of great visuals I have experienced on my PS3 include GTA V, God of War Ascension, The Last of Us, Uncharted 3 and Gran Turismo 6 (GT Academy Demo), all of which look awesome. That being said, most of the console ports on PS3, including Ghosts, are just that, and I can see how folks would be underwhelmed by the visuals.

Ya it still impresses me I was just in a mindset that I didn't want to waste buying more games for it I only bought cod because mate wanted me too. I'm looking forward to a visual upgrade tbh

I finally got Ghosts running well on my triple screens, with no more audio or graphics problems. I am using the Flawless Widescreen plug-in to get the triple screen resolutions. I did some research and it turns out that the audio was cutting out due to stuttering and the solution is to run the game in Windowed or Windowed No Border mode. So, at this point, all is good. I am very much enjoying the game now.

It was a huge gamble by Activision and Infinity Ward, but it completely changed the FPS genre and became the best selling game series of all time. |

i think the thing is that most COD players fall into two groups
Modern warfare Or Black ops
and most players like one and dislike the other.
both games are great but you have to use different play styles.
being there are 2 companies making the same game.

i really like both series. I'm a run and gunner. and my biggest compliant with both company's is the guns.
i think every gun in that class should be even. after all its a gun and your shooting bad guys. but thats just me.. lol!!

lol me too tony totally a runner & gunner I die a lot lol never been worried about KD ratio im only worried about winning the game for team (we only play domo)
