I know is a bit odd to ask, not very nice, but I have to...Im sorry. If we get only 8 or 9 drivers, still gonna be 90 minutes?

I don't care how many people show up, I like the longer races. When I can finish them. But would understand if you shortened it for that reason.

I can go either way. The season was planned this way so we should stick to it unless we have like 6 guys (which wouldn't surprise me, to be honest.) what do you all think about transitioning into night? For kicks.

Its ok begin with 9 drivers or so. The problem is with 30 minutes we have only 4 remaining. Im ok with transition though. With specific times defined, of course.

I know I'm not much competition but plan on making it. A transition to dusk/night is ok. I think Angelo has a point. If we have only 4 cars remaining I'm ok with calling it. You can always give a 5 lap notice to call during the race.

Yes to night from me but those that haven't run this mod in the dark should test that offline and ensure the get adequate framerates.

^thats why I was hesitant. Please test, everyone. I will try to figure out the start time and time scale tomorrow night if I have time.

I tested this last night running in the dark and I took a huge framerate hit. I have a HD7970 running 4320*900 and usually get 180+ fps but running in the dark it was dipping way down in 50's. Not sure it would be a good idea to run this mod in the dark if people have slower, less powerful systems.

We'll just run it on normal time. Thanks.

Bump for tomorrow. 6 have turned laps so it's not looking good. I am going to reduce the time by 10 minutes for every 1 car under 10 up to the standard 45 minutes. So, 9 cars would be an 80 minutes race, etc.

David, I think we should stick with the 90 minutes race. Is necessary do fuel calculations and have a race with no defined duration is not nice to do that.
If there is less than 5 drivers going around, then you can call it. But I think we should define how the race is supposed to happen.
