I really hope Nick was accidentally cutting chicanes with both his laps, or we are fuuuuuuuuuuuuucked this season.  |

I really hope Nick was accidentally cutting chicanes with both his laps, or we are fuuuuuuuuuuuuucked this season. Haha, they were clean - I'm used to racing with tyre (tire??) bundles around here which actually makes it easier to pick your line through that first chicane. I'm sure by tomorrow my times will be bettered, I really don't have the confidence without TC on with these cars yet |

We begin our 7th season of the V8 Supercars Championship tonight.
Qualifying will start at 7:15 pm PST. Please try to be logged into Teamspeak and
on the server by 7:00, which is about 2 1/2 hours from now.
Really looking forward to another fun and competitive season. Hope to
see you at the track.

What a great season opener...
it was a tough race, but lots of fun.
7th and 10th, that's a pretty good start for a pack guy.
most of the spot i gained was on other driver misfortune.
that's part of racing in the concrete canyon.
i had a blast!!!
Thanks for hosting and cant wait for the next one...

Hey guys, I want to say thanks for inviting me to participate in the V8 racing and enjoyed the hell out of the opener... Hope I stayed out of everyone's way and am super happy to have finished the second race...

Was good to be back in the V8 series. I had a good battle trying to stay in front of Dale in race 2. Met my goals for the evening and had a blast.

An off pace night for me. I have never been quick here and came into last night with work stuff on my mind. I lost a comfortable 6th place in the final lap of Race 1 when I spun due to wall contact. Race 2 was fun battling with Marvin, Chris and Dave. Hopefully I'm back on form for Brno. I'll do the points table tonight. |
