Damn KJ, that really sucks. Great race tonight! I did far better than I was expecting. Started 14th, planned on starting out conservative and just waited for the race to come to me. Surprisingly enough it actually did. Got a bit of luck with traffic keeping Nick at bay to hold out for the final podium spot. Early race battles with Rich, John, Marvin, Hawks, and Dave was epic! We pretty much ran as a pack up until just before the first round of pit stops. See you guys at the next race. Cheers!

Yeah that pack action was definitely worth the price of admission. I had a blast on this one. Missed 10th by 00.100 seconds It was a drag race down the stretch. I did do a nice drift 2nd to last turn lol. I just couldn't stop for jack going on anyone's inside

Decent race. With no LR times to go by and very little practice, this one was a bit of a guessing game for me. I did no tuning... just grabbed my COTA tune from last season and ran it. In testing I knew I had crap pace on the inters and was melting the LF off. With pitlane taking nearly one minute I rolled the dice on one-stopping the softs. My plan was 6% tire wear per lap, no battles and to pit with 30% tire left. I overdid it on the first stint and had to pit a lap early then had to put 13 laps on the second set of softs which required a lot of discipline. The last several laps were spent making my car as wide as possible to hold Rich off and protect my 5th position. The only thing in my favour seemed to be my rears were good condition and being soft, almost gave me TC pulling out of each corner. Slow in, wide car, fast out.

This race turned out better than I hoped. I was determined to do a single stop but my pace on inters was terrible. After leaving a little on the track and qualifying 11th, I decided to fuel for a single stop and start the race on softs to possibly get a gap. I followed John and Jason for the first stint with Rich right on me. It was obvious that they were on inters because I was actually being held up slightly. I stretched the tires to 10 laps and pitted. I decided to take inters on the front and softs on the back and go with the same concept as Dale's of slowing down more but getting on the gas sooner.
With 3-4 laps to go I was in 8th with John and Armando 17 secs behind. Armando closed that gap and passed me like we were in two different classes. My tires were completely done after doing 14 laps on them. I'll take a 9th place all day long in this series.

I don't think even Dale or Chris can get away with doing a one stop on inters here, but they have surprised me in the past. Surprise!!!

I was amazed when you mentioned that after the race. I don't what your secret is for tire management, but it's damn impressive!

I learned tire management from Mr. Booolsheet. If there's one good thing he did for my driving it was what I learned while competing against him in the NAGT Volvo over at R2P. If you can protect the fronts on that car you've reached the fourteenth astral plane of vehicle enlightnment.

It was a relatively enjoyable race I guess. With the pit lane speed limit, I knew it would be near impossible to make the time up with more than one pit stop, so I chose a one stop strategy on inters. I followed Dale the first half of the race and finally passed him the lap before my pit stop. The rest of the race was uneventful. Ended up second about 9 seconds behind Cam.
