Well, lots of excuses for me tonight but the worst was grabbing my two stop setup for Race 2 and trying to convert it to a one-stopper. The problem there was having to pace myself to do 20 laps on the softs because I only had enough fuel at the beginning for 10 laps. I didn't dare pit though because I would've given up two places without enough time to reclaim them. Oh well, I did better than I thought I would tonight.

I can't complain about my results. Just wanted to appologize for a couple of oh-shit moments at T1 with Dale. I had the tires and the draft but I couldn't get the thing stopped and crossed in front of you. Thanks for making sure I didn't hit you lol. I think the extra speed from the draft and using brake markers way off track, and then being on the left side of the track, was throwing me off. I think I sideswiped KJ there. Sorry to him too.

Finally got power back!! We had an ice storm yesterday which was causing alot trees to fall on powerlines knocking out power everywhere. At first I thought my screen minimized but it was the power that was flickering and then all sudden I'm sitting in the dark holding my steering wheel This season has not started to well for me I need some good mojo to come my way. As far as last night race I think I was running to much wing. I couldnt hang with the Rich, Cam, John, Jeff, and Chris on the front straights. Good hard racing with Jeff, John, and Chris the 1st race until I went off towards the end of the race 2nd race got off to a good start and was trying to conserve my tires, even made to 16 laps on softs and was looking for a top 5 finish. Oh well thats how it goes sometimes. Congrats to Rich and Cam on their wins and congrats to podium finishers also. BTW way to go Chris, I'm going to start using your stratergy. Don't practice until its race day...lol

I usually run pretty well at Hidden Valley, and I really enjoy the track. Great scrap w/ Boza, Tiger, and Stinky in Race 1. We kinda got broken up towards the end, but it was great fun up until then. Race 2 I was just trying to keep my nose clean, and wound up in a bit of excitement with Dale, a kerb and David anyways. Things settled down, and I just focused on trying to stay smooth and not overwork the tires too much. Gradually started climbing up the order as pit stops took place. Heading into the final leg of the race I found myself in 3rd, with Boza in front and Zeke behind. I was hoping to maybe start running down Boza with a few laps to go when I ran up on his car parked in a corner...turns out he discoed when he lost power. Ended up driving off track twice in 1 lap when I got distracted...otherwise that gap to Rich would've been a lot closer. Still don't think I had enough for him, but it would've been closer. I'll take a podium any day. I've got to say, I had no expectations about leaving here with a 2nd place! Congrats Zeke & Rich on the wins. Rich, was this your first V8 win?

After making some adjustments to my car setups I was finally to find some decent pace. I was always stuggling with braking, either I had to brake way early or I would lock up the brakes. I turned down the brake pressure and was able to brake much later and not lock up.
This was my best grid position and finishes. I finally got a top 10 finish. Got 10th in the second race and 11th in the first race. I took advantage that Hawks and Nick were not going to show up. I had some good battles and was able to stay on the track. Apologies to Sweeney for the bump and spin in race 2. KJ was on my back bumper for a few laps and then he finally got by on the front straight.
Congrats to all the podium finishers.

Congrats to our podium finishers! Like Boza mentioned, I had no power all day and was just lucky it came back in time. No flickering after that - bonus! Anyway, limited practice but felt pretty good on inters, finished better than expected and enjoyed it. Softs, was another story, I'm an all around tire shredder and was no different here. I tried to be easy but needed the two stops just to stay where I was at. No worries neverender - I wasn't a threat to anyone just gave me some kinda incentive to try and catch up and make a top 10 finish but Jimmy was just too far out there. Anyway - good racing with you all. Hope to make some more.

I was all over the place. Not a good one for me at all. But it was fun though. Got spun at the same turn first lap both races LMAO I guess there's some hidden Cowboy fan's lucking in here. But it made it fun charging back from last place to get a couple of spots above my starting position. As usual for me my fuel management was off and cost me some spots in the second race. Great fun for sure. Congrats to the podium people!

Congrats to Cam and Rich on there wins, also to the other podium finishers.
Qualy went better then expected setting several PB's.
Race one got a good start but was unable to hold off Jeff and someone else in the first lap so ended up 7th then Sweeney out broke me in turn one a couple of laps later. Following him I thought I seen him go wide and looked going off track in turn one so I was driving around the inside but he was just late apexing and we had a coming together. After getting back on track I'd lost 2 more spots, just drove hard from there had some good battles with a few guys.
Race two another good start but same deal. Was holding 6th down pretty good when I went wide myself in the back lost some spots but recoverd ok. Was changing my pit stratergie on the fly, hadn't practice tthat par, decicded I could do it in a one stop but came up a lap short on fuel. As I dove in I made sure to a little extra. Had some more good close racing with few guys I think Dave and Jimmie.
This is not one of the tracks that I like all that much so happy to move on from it.

I started on the outside behind Jeff, and think I settled around 6th by the end of L1 (hell, I think it was by the time we got out of T1).
