is anyone else getting massive stutters on this track? It's undrivable for me. It's not doing it on any other track and I have tried a few changes to my config. I may not be able to race tomorrow.

Try turning the GID map off with NumPad0. I've had trouble with that here last we ran this track.

I pointed my V8s to my main folder that had last season's Hidden Valley and it's working okay with no mismatch on the server. The track is the same, correct?

I pointed my V8s to my main folder that had last season's Hidden Valley and it's working okay with no mismatch on the server. The track is the same, correct? If we ran inters/soft races here last season then it should be the same. Jason customized these to force tire selection. As long as you could connect to both V8 servers when you tested then it should be OK. |

Fingers crossed that I won't have an issue with the soft server. I see it was taken down so I cannot test it before the race. |

I've noticed that leaving the pits, I will turn off my Pit limiter as I pass the lights and get busted for speeding in the pits. If I wait until I think the entire car is past the lights then no fine. Just want people to take extra care when leaving the pits to make sure you are all the way past the lights before turning off your pit limiter. Don't want somebody to get busted with a stop/go penalty by accident.

Thanks Jimmy. I rely on GID's display and often forget to check against the track features.
I'll mention it in the pre-race briefing tonight.
The race tonight should be interesting for me. I guess I'm experimenting with Helios' technique of just showing up and racing. I have no practice at all other than what I can get tonight after work, but I have a good setup from last season and a lot of laps here over the years so I should be OK.

Ah yissss! Hidden Valley. My how I love this place. Looking forward to a kerb hopping extravaganza tonight!  And yeah, I meant to turn a couple laps last night...but I didn't get home until almost 10pm. So said screw that. Coming in cold tonight...like normal.  |

Hawks is skipping this one so this is your chance to create a good points buffer back to him!  Whittled some back last week after an unexpected podium. Going to try to make the most of it and just try to nab a couple solid top 10s. Hopefully make up for the disaster at Adelaide. |
