I agree. Please don't wait until race night as that will cause delays and restarts etc. Get it worked out in advance or take a pass this week so you have more time to troubleshoot the issue. Not that I don't want to see your car vanish into the distance, just thinking about everyone's schedule etc.
Cheers!

Fantomas... can you be on at 6PM PDT (9 Eastern)? I want to follow you for a lap or two (so you'll have to slow down from your usual pace!) and see what happens when you disconnect. Then I want you to reconnect and we'll repeat the test again.

LOL at that pic, reminds of my dad and his puter. Hey Fantomas..not to be sounds smartass but asking honestly. Have you rebooted / turned you puter off since last race/ (i haven't turned mine off in prolly a month) it might help specially being new. Also have you reset you're interent? You would need to acutally unplug the modem from the back or from the wall. That i do usually once a month. I just unplug, go have a smoke, then fire it back up again. That too may help. I'm trying to think of silly little things that shouldn't be an issue, but could fix it.

Also think of what ahs changed since last race..your old computer...does the family now use it at same your online? Is someone watching netflix or using the 360 at same time? This CAN cause an issue depending on your internet. Like i said just simple stuff to look at before diggin in. I have 4 comps, the wifes xbox (mines been off for months) 3 wifi nooks, 2 laptops, 2 cell phones and i think my neighbours kids ipod all on my internet...and i'm usually ok. BUT that doesn't mean I don't have to shut things down of off from time to time...

still kicking me out from the lobby. I was able to create a lobby but when I start driving , the screen was lagging . I just got a note from F1 on this. I will turn on my server around 6:00 pm PST (9:00 pm EST). It is simply called Gone Broke Racing. Try connecting to that and let us know if you have the same problems.

Yes, thanks Hawks. Fantomas, try the other server first. If that doesn't work then I can't help you much with my server.

I've been on the server practicing. Fantomas tried to join. When he joins, I see a message in the race message window that says:
oFANTOMASo "Track Geometry" mismatch: will be kicked from race
I tried to help him with my very limited knowledge. He deleted the track, re-downloaded and re-installed it, and still getting the same error message.
He said he has been getting the problem since he installed the VHR mod. I think he installed it in the same folder with the V8SC mod. He is going to try to uninstall and delete everything and start with a fresh install. I advised him not to install the VHR mod until someone can walk him through installing it in another folder.
He will be back on by 8:30 or 9:00 EDT, hopefully someone with more experience than me can be on to help him.

Oh crap...yea that's the problem...Watkins glen (nascar)is in vhr..and we running long...Shit i knew i should have knocked out the VHR install tut...shit. It needs to be done with the STAND ALONE option, then you copy your exe over. ALWAYS ALWAYS install mods in a clean lite folder then just copy your exe over, NEVER install into an rfactor you already using...

Boom. There's the problem. VHR doesn't play well with other mods it seems.

No vhr doesn't , just like Historix doesn't either. I had to do a seperate lite install for that one
