I have the replay to prove i didnt just do some photoshop magic on this. Something is wrong with LiveRacers... my fast time disappeared and is now replaced with one of the first slow test laps I ran.

I even made sure to do another 3-4 laps after I did my fastest lap to make sure LiveRacers recorded it. At first I thought LiveRacers had goofed and put Jeff's time as my time because they are exactly the same. That is when I checked my replay to make sure I had actually done it.

Holy Ice Rink Batman! This track is slick as snot. Hopefully there will be some rubber laid down come race day.

I'm going to increase the rubber rate like I did at Mid-Ohio. You just confirmed my observations. Even with 10 AI I wasn't seeing it rubber in.

You can add a prepared RR to the server so it is always there. Seemed to be more the other day and now none....

Ya, I tried to build a base RR with 10 AI at Normal rate and it wasn't happening and I haven't had time to deal with it this week. The one that was there on "Naturally Progressing" got reset when I restarted the server... I'll check it if was saved. Either way, I'll fix it later this evening.

So, apparently turning a shit load of practice laps means nothing and this week will be just like last time at Mid-Ohio? I had a good set up for long runs there due to many practice laps. Come race night, the track was totally different, way way tight for me and I melted the fronts in like four laps. I've turned a hundred plus laps now at Hidden Valley with some great tire wear. But, if you make the track super rubbered up, I guess it will be the same thing. I don't know, Hidden Valley doesn't seem slick to me with a green track. But, whatever.

I'm not trying to bitch, I'll run anything and everything with this club. Just practicing with one set of conditions and racing with another is very frustrating. This mod is frustrating enough as it is.

With a nice rubbered track I knocked off more than a second but haven't paid attention to tire wear yet. Also how many laps for each race?

As soon as the server is clear of drivers tonight I'll be resetting it with rubber from 100 laps (10 cars, 10 laps) at 10x wear. That will be set as default. Can't please everyone especially since I don't know how much rubber was there earlier today but this seems a reasonable amount and at least it'll be predictable now.

We are still figuring out what the best server settings are and ISI made some changes in this latest update to boot. Dynamic track is something we all have to get used to as we never had to deal with this in rF1. I'm just saying if it's either slick or rubbered in, we all get to deal with it. No conspiracy here, I promise.
