The dynamic track is one of my favorite features of rF2. It does make practice very different though. A green track is no fun and a well rubbered in track can get you times that are a little better than you'll get in race conditions. Comparing LiveRacers times is less important also because you have no idea what kind of track guys are setting their best times with.
It just takes getting used to.

Guys I have tried a million times and a million ways and cannot get hidden valley to load, error error error..... This is unreal? Okay 18th time lucky I guess?, FINALLY  |

With a nice rubbered track I knocked off more than a second but haven't paid attention to tire wear yet. Also how many laps for each race? 17 and 38 Wow!! I didnt know a rubbered track would make that much of a difference. That explains why my tires fell off so quickly at Mid Ohio, but even with the tires falling off I was still able to be some what consistent. Are we racing on a rubbered up track or a green track on Wednesday? |

If I have done this right, each session (Practice, Quali and Race) will start with the same rubber conditions that are on the server now then accumulate slowly from there during the session (reverting to the preset for the next session).
It's not quite realistic but at least you'll have a consistent start to each session.

There's a chance I may not be able to make it tonight. Wife's family decided to make plans for a get together tonight. Still trying to worm my way out if possible. Right now I'm probably 50/50. Dammit!

All going to come down to how severe the repercussions are if I skip out of the family event. Been looking forward to racing Hidden Valley as I missed last season's race here too. |
