Jumped the gun on this thread just to point out a few things.

- Do not practice with AI. They can't properly drive T1 and slam on the brakes on corner entry and sometimes cause a multi-car crash there. IIRC, that's a problem with how the track maker joined pit exit to the racing line.

- Rubber build-up seems slow or not happening. I will be experimenting over the next few days so don't consider the track's grip to be "final" until Sunday but I suspect based on some reading that RealRoad is not working here.

I downloaded the GBRV8LongBeach.rfmod and the longbeach0_95.rfcmp files, moved them to my packages folder and when I go to manage mods in rf2 it shows "Not installable - missing virtual cmp long beach .95 v0.95"

I don't have any other versions of this track. Just looking for some help getting it installed.

- Did you install the track with Mod Manager first then install the rfmod?
- Put the packages in the right folder and use Mod Manager to install to the right place (only need to check if you're running with more than one rF2 install)?

I put the files here \Documents\rFactor2\Packages
When I try to use the mod manager to install them, that is where I am seeing the "Not installable - missing virtual cmp long beach .95 v0.95" message.

Try running the launcher as Admin, open Mod Manager and install the track first then the rfmod second.

The message you are getting is because MM doesn't think the track is installed therefore the rfmod is listed as having a problem.

Also the rfmod download *should* be working better now so you could just get the track installed then try and join the server.

Definitely verify the track is installed. I've had issues where installing the rfmod would "uninstall" the track. I'd go back, re-install the track then install the rfmod and it would work fine. Screwy I know.

I removed the rfmod file, and then was able to install the track from mod manager. I connected to the server and it successfully downloaded the rfmod file. Thanks Dale.

vmod is downloading well now. First time it's worked for me and nice and quick too.

Are you running rF2 as Administrator? That helped me.

That said, there is another lingering issue with Get Mod that's present for some users (related to having uninstalled content).

A little set up help here would be great.... Can't make a full lap without spinning and I just don't have the time to spend.
