Remember, daylight savings time ends this weekend. We will be changing from PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) to PST (Pacific Standard Time). For those that don't observe the time change, the races will be 1 hour later from here on out (Fall back).
Also, we are using the official ISI version of the track (just released last week).

rF2 was updated to build 880 last night. Please update before the race. Auto update wasn't working last I checked, but ISI is working on resolving this I believe.
Dale mentioned we should turn the spotter volume way down as it will now blow out your ear drums.

Server is up with the new build. Rubber for each session is set for the preset that is included with the track.
Please report any issues.

Man, you guys are fast with the RF2 update. I was just on the server and it's working perfect. Thanks for the quick update. I know of another league that won't update for a couple weeks.

Man, you guys are fast with the RF2 update. I was just on the server and it's working perfect. Thanks for the quick update. I know of another league that won't update for a couple weeks. No problem Scott. We are fortunate to have an inside scoop on rF2 here. Also, the auto update appears to be working now. I'm updating as we speak.

Is there any rides open for drop in?
I have a few wed open between now and the end of the season and might decided to renew for a yr? Ive been givin the mod a test over the past 2 days and have a few noob questions regarding the sim and mod.
Sim - Is there no collision sounds? I've tried 4 different in game cars with the latest build and don't hear anything during contact...I feel it in the ffb - running shadows is there a way to eliminate this without turning off shadows? And does anyone know which AA settings doesn't produce the black exhaust bug
Mod - when exiting the garage the force ffb feels reversed and pulls towards the direction of the turn once straight it sorts itself out and is fine on track though there are a few curbs at interlagos that really pull the car onto the grass experience. 2nd last corner - what's the optimal tire temps for each compound? I've been seeing temps from 150-350 c which is an extreme after a skid avg. Front is 180c which seems pretty high? Finally how long is a sprint race and intermediate?

1) I swear I've heard collision sounds but I need to check that
2) Running shadows are a frustrating thing that have been complained about for many months. I've never heard of black exhaust but I have heard of reflective exhaust which I believe is caused when users modify AA with Nvidia Inspector (certain combinations cause it). If you've used NI to alter settings for rF2 then I can try and find that thread again.
3) Caster has a big impact on how FF feels. I've not noticed any reversed forces at low speed but I have caster raised a bit from the default. It could be related to the low speed steering assistance (I think that's changed in your player.json)
4) IIRC, optimal tire temp is about 90C but I can check later tonight at my PC. That's for non-sliding temperatures. rF2's tire temp reporting is surface temp (not carcass), I believe and shoots up significantly when the tire is abused.

You do want to be careful of hitting too much curb on a couple corners as I also noticed that it wants to pull the car out into the grass, especially going into turn 12. You don't want to lock up the tires on this mod. They will degrade rapidly if you do. Don't see as much wear due to tire scrubbing on this version however. Lastly, the races will be 12 and 25 laps.

I'm surprised no one has felt that reverse FFB. I wouldn't say it's reverse but when standing still I need to pull the wheel back to center. It happened with the rF1 cars as well so I figured it was the suspension geometry and the high camber that these cars run.
I'm so glad I had my speakers on and not my headphones the first time the spotter came on!
