I've seen other odd results when you ESC a lap. Since there's no time for that lap, I wouldn't worry about it.

Hey Jason, Two questions.
1. where did you get the countdown timer? I was using one at SPAZCAR, but they want to get paid for it now.

2. That file you use for making our cars default for replays, could it be used as a patch where we all would see them? Would it make it easier for those who sometimes forget to pick they're skins? Or would it cause issues?

I love to watch the replays after a race, but I hate trying to figure out who's who. I know who's in which skin.

The countdown clock I've been using all this time is now charging. Just noticed it this evening when I set up the COTA post. I just did a quick google search and found the one I'm using now. It has the Demo banner on it, but at least it's free. I found it here: www.onlinecountdowns.com/

As for the replays, I had to manually go in and edit the mas files and rename the custom skins to the default ones within. Was a major pain in the arse. Before I record, I go in and copy the edited files into the game so it will show the custom paints. I then have to go back and replace it with the originals. You can't join the server with the revised files as it will give an error. My biggest concern about giving out the files is it may screw up someone's install if they don't know what they are doing OR make a mistake somewhere.

If you want it, let me know and I'll zip up the files. Just be sure to back up the originals before you overwrite.

Thanks man, but no. I was just wondering if we could patch everyone's game. But if we can't get on the server, it's no use anyway.

I guess we'll have to wait and see if it gets fixed someday.
