Is petra part of simtek I thought she did the bes mod ? Petra is not part of Simtek from what I understand. She got permission from Simtek (aka GPFan) to convert the BES mod to rF2. Still waiting on that download link - don't be holding out now.  |

Simtek is GPFan. He did the rF1 BES mod. I think that woman was converting it to rF2. I don't know the whole story but there was some beef at the site GPFan used to call home, PTSims.pt. He left and started calling himself (and I guess anyone helping him) Simtek.

Perhaps I am a bit slow, but when I did the install it seemed to only installed the GamedData, rFm, and UIData folders. There isn't a rfactor.exe or anything to launch it. When I launched the WES_1.0_Setup file it says it needs about 902mb of free space, and that is the size of the folder it created.

You will need to install it over a fresh install of rFactor lite.

You will need to install it over a fresh install of rFactor lite. Yikes. I guess it has been to long since I installed a rfactor mod. Thanks for refresher. |
