Ok cool. I'll post a thread this evening. Want to do multiclass or stick with GT only? If we do go multiclass, I'm thinking we limit to 2 classes only.
I'm also thinking a 60 or 75 minute race.

I think is better stick with GT car only, as I dont think we gonna have much drivers. Also a shorter race, since is just a exibition. 45 minutes, maybe. Or we do 2x20 minutes sprints. Maybe reversing grid and stuff.

Single class, endurance length works for me if we get a good turnout. Sprint format would be nice if the field is small.
I haven't checked fuel mileage on these but I'd suggect 2x fuel if needed to force a endurance race pitstop which is always a fun way to introduce some strategy/luck in a long race.
Also, for the GT cars I'm leaning towards banning that Ferrari until we test it more. It seems to have too much grip and/or different tire heating properties than the others.

I haven't heard any issues on the Ferrari, but haven't drove it yet. Is this something you've read or from your own testing Dale?
Also, the Efnet guys can put a bug in the TUM guys ear to see if they are interested.

I noticed it on Monday night and mentioned it... that was probably when you were away. It seems to have an unnatural level of grip but I should back that up with some testing and laptimes.

What do you guys think about running an exhibition on Wednesday, January 14th at Daytona? We could set it up as an invitational event to draw a few more folks. Let me know what you think. I'm down, lets do this.

Get the info nailed down and I'll invite some guys from SPAZCAR that have shown interest in road racing but don't yet have rF2.

Well, I tested last time I was in the server the Ferrari and the Aston Martin, and there wasnt much difference between those cars. Lap times also were pretty much even.

OK, disregard then. Must've just been me playing with my wheel settings or something that made it feel different.

OK, confirmed. I ran the Ferrari and three other cars and my lap times were all within 0.6 s. It *feels* faster... maybe because it's the most stable car for me.

We'll see how it goes during the exhibition. Simtek is usually pretty good about keeping the cars really close. Thanks for testing it out Dale.
