Thanks for the bumps, guys. Hope this is a good one. I am struggling with this one after running the rF2 version that felt much tighter.

Hi guys. Just want to say sorry for leave the race and the TS straight away. But honestly I wasnt in a good mood because of what happened to me in the race. Already discussed what was necessary via PM, so no race recap this time. Im sorry if I didnt say anything, specially to Chris in our fight close to the end of the race. Didnt meant to be rude, but my head was just too hot and I just wanted to leave without discuss anything.
Congratulations to Jeff for a fine Win.

Bad night for me and 100% all my fault. I was overdriving the car and just couldn't get back into the groove. I want to say again to Ed, you did nothing wrong, I shifted down to first for that corner, then stomped on the gas because I was frustrated with myself, lost the rear end and slammed into the wall. As I did a 180 I could see my left front bouncing down the track. Good think my mic was set to push to talk because I was cursing up a storm at myself. I really did enjoy learning this complex track. I also think these cars are great and this series is fun. Thanks again to Dave for running it.

After qualifying with my modified race set up & realizing too late I forgot to turn up the boost. I should have been able to get into the 203's but would have still been in the same position. For some reason my Qualifying set was a drifting nightmare, it worked great offline when it didnt matter.
Then onto the race where I managed to get a really good launch once again and gain 1 position. After that It was pretty processional behind the disappearing Hooper. During those first few laps I was starting to see where I was slower and where others might be slower. On the lap before the contact with Angelo I was surprised how much he slowed down through a tight section of the track and almost rear ended him. Then on the next lap he slowed even more and that caught me off guard. With walls on either side and Angelo dead ahead I was unable to avoid contact. Unfortunately on a track like this the consequences are more severe than say Atlanta where I was on the receiving end and was not only able to get back on the track after my lawn mowing but held my position. I am in no way blaming Angelo here at it the following drivers responsibility to not hit to pass but shit happens to us all sometimes and with a group such as ours it is clearly never intentional.
After that unfortunate event I tried to keep Boza in sight, which I was able to keep around 2 a second gap until my first stop. I ended up aborting pit entry on the lap I planned because my pit box appeared to be occupied but not sure it really was in hindsight. Then after pitting I somehow found myself 10 seconds behind Boza which he then opened up to 18 seconds in the last part of the race. I kept the gap to Rich behind me between 1.5 and 2.5 seconds until he had to pit his thirsty Porsche a second time unfortunately. So not a great race for me and was lucky to get a podium but would have preferred another epic battle with Angelo to earn it.
After missing what became round 1 and a big fat zero for points due to my winter vacation that was booked 10 months earlier, I am greatful to have two great points finishes in the first two rounds. Furthermore for Angelo to salvage 5th after our incident deserves a round of applause imo and he definitely minimized his points loss in the championship.
Looking forward to moving on to more open tracks and more great racing. Thanks to all that made it last night and congrats to Jeff on the win and Boza on a well deserved second position. Cheers.

Congrats Jeff on the win, I had nothing for you on this track. My set up for the race felt like pure shit from lap 1 to 10, the car was way too tight. I knew from the get go I wouldn't be able to keep up with Jeff, I should used my qually set up with less downforce. Seeing that I couldn't keep up with Jeff, I figured I'll keep it easy and managed the gap between me and Angelo. Unfortunately he and Tony had a incident and I was able to back off even more to save my tires. I was able to gain on Jeff after the pit cycle, but his pace picked up and couldn't close the gap between us. I just wanted to bring it home in one piece and settle for second. For me it was an uneventful, but satisfying race, it's nice to get a podium with this group. Looking forward to next race, I never raced at Buuhdd......whatever its called. LOL
