Server is up. If you have never raced here I recommend practicing. There are 23 corners on this track!

Love this track. I raced it several times over at Race2Play.

Unfortunately, I will definitely not be able to race on 3/25. The wife and I are picking up and moving from Ft. Worth to Seattle and will be on the road driving. If things go to plan, on the night of 3/25 we'll be at a motel in Cortez, CO with a pair of dogs that will be happy to be out of the car.
We should be set up, and I plan to be ready to go at the new place by the time for Buddh Intl. on 4/8.

Love this track. I raced it several times over at Race2Play. It took me a while to find a rhythm here but it was great once I did. I really enjoy it. I have only run it in rF2 w/ the URD so I still need to "learn" this version. The rF2 version doesn't fake the darkness so practicing in daylight for a night race was another twist. I think it would be a great track for the v8's (hint-hint-nudge-nudge)

JImmy loves watching F1 race here. JImmy is struggling with this track so far. JImmy was on last night and it is going to take JImmy a long time just to get the track figured out, then it will be time to start working on a tune.
JImmy thinks practice will be critical for this race for sure.

What is this rhythm you speak of?
This is how JImmy feels on this track so far.

Woot! Welcome to the PNW Joe! I'm about 2 hours north of Seattle myself.

He will be missed in the office but I am happy about his new opportunity in Seattle. Best of luck to you Joe and glad you got to become a member of GBR before you moved. See you on the track brother!

I finally found my rhythm for this track. I am not exaggerating when I say it took me more than 30 laps to get a good feel for the track and have it committed to memory.
With that, you are going to want to hit almost all of the corners early and use the curbs (Chris should love that!) I made a few minor tweaks to my base tune (Joe's Magnificent Park tune) and went from 2:10's down to 2:04's by using the curbing on the corners.
This is one of the more complicated tracks I have ever run. More 90 degree turns than I am used to that is for sure. It is easy to forget where you are on track if you aren't paying attention 100% of the time. Many of the turns look alike.
Good luck guys, your going to need it.

Ah. Modern F1 layout...once you got one figured out, they are all the same! You're description was fitting Yas Marina to a tee. Then w/ Marina in the track name I assumed it was just a renamed Yas.

This is a street course so it's a tad different from the typical modern F1 track. It's completely flat but lots of turns.
