FR2 will be released very shortly and is a blast to drive, I ve also been testing some new ffb features that greatly improve the overall experience.....ffb min. & slip angle.
Tons of content, features and physic updates will be coming over the next few weeks. It's taken longer than expected with all the changes going on internally but this title is finally coming together and showing it's potential!

Theres still some basic features missings from the sim but with the latest updates and content releases its really coming together. Something about the driving immersion has sucked me in and pretty much my go to sim due to all my favorite rl series being in the title. Its somehow brought back the fun i use to have in my forza days, big grids, daily races, competitions, hot lap leader challenges and many pro drivers have been online of late that ive gotten a chance to race in public lobbies of late....Timo Glock and Lappenien i raced yesterday. Between ESR and Race Department i am running 2-4 club races a day and 3 series on the weekends ALL packs and experiences are now 50% off during the steam winter sale! for those interested id strongly suggest the ADAC gt 2014, DTM 2015 and Audi TT Cup packs. 10 cars 16 tracks all the liveries all for under $30 cdn |

So after yesterday's announcement of the audi tt rs someone on the forums suggested they should release a dream pack with the laser scanned nords which got a reply from one of the devs
"How about a VLN super pack instead"
Which opens up speculation that RRE has possibly landed another major series for this title!
It boogles my mind how sector3 has gone through bankruptcy, changed names, moved studio's and laid of half there staff but continue to land these big licenses ?

The TT RS and an official VLN license with all the cars would probably make me add this to my collection of sims. There's a TT Cup mod for rF2 but it doesn't quite do it for me.

Ya I tried the TT mod for both rf2 and AC and I was less than impressed.....both versions almost felt like they were awd models with vacuum cleaner sounds. The RRE version I am really enjoying and has become very popular over at RD club races and multiplayer. Easy car to drive, a blast once you learn to drive it on the edge. The min. Tuning allows for very close pack racing among all skill levels while the P2p adds that extra bit of strategy. Quit possibly one the best cars for drop in racing. The title is still missing some features but keeps getting better with each update particularly the adaptive Ai is amazing! I posted a top 20 lb time jumped into a 20 Ai race and the majority were within .100 of my lb time while a couple were running pretty much on par with me which makes racing the Ai very enjoyable....and while you become e faster so does the Ai so you never out grow there skill level which usually maxes out at 110% in most titles. For a title that's base content is free and unlike iracing you can test every piece before buying to see if you like and and worth your hard earned cash Completely eliminates the buyers remorse which many of us have in the sim racing world lol |
