Do any of you guys have Raceroom? Kevin McTavish and I have just gotten into it a little because CMS is going to do some fun races using it. I have to say, it is quite good. The graphics look great. The cars look great. It drives and feels great. The only thing is if you want content, you have to buy it. I'm not to excited about that, but it is pretty cheap. I bought one track, Mid-Ohio, and two cars for like $12. They have a lot of sales going on right now, so it's a pretty good deal. I just didn't jump all the way in yet till I see if I think it's really worth it. I got caught up in the iRacing thing and spent almost $600 over some time. And now I don't even have iRacing anymore. I got sick of people always crashing into me in races. It just seemed like instead of passing you by driving, they would just run into you to make the pass. That's not racing to me, so I got rid of iRacing. I told myself I'd never get sucked into this buy stuff to race again, but Raceroom is 100 times better than iRacing to me. So i'll see how it goes.

I've had it for a few years but haven't gotten any updates for a long time just because I never used it. I have not bought any content either. I have heard that the updates have improved it a lot. I have heard lots of positive feedback over the past year.

I recently got into this and it's good fun. The graphics and FFB are great. I primarily race with the Cadillac CTS in mini single player championships against the AI.

I've got it, but very limited in content. Picked it up primarily for the early '90s DTM cars.

I have it too and with recent updates I am liking it more. The other night after loading windows 10, I decided to see if it would run. Well I stayed up until 2 am! I bought the Volvo turbo brick in touring classics and put in the top 5 on the leader board at Mid Ohio. Since then tried to do more tuning and lost 2 seconds. Went to bed after trying a few things and have not been back in the 129's since. Wish you could save set ups like RFActor. I will say its much better than it was, so if you have not tried it lately do so. I will post my Steam name so if you want you can friend me and race. I would love to do some online racing. Jim

The black Friday sale all content for 49.99 was a huge success and sold out all 500 keys by noon!!! Hopefully sector3 will realize a full package deal is the way to go and loose the ridiculous iracing pay ware model. I started a DTM 15 season and absolutely loving it, the Ai, sounds, visuals, physics and season replicating format are excellent. I also came across a huge performance and ffb boost, I was always running the game with adaptive vsync on and could only play at medium settings while still getting fps drops in the low 50's and the ffb felt numb and laggy which was really turning me off this title so I disabled it and now I am running max settings with 100+ fps 20 Ai and ffb is much better than the floaty delayed boat feel I had before lol

The Audi Sport TT is an all-new race sports machine purpose built for the track. The 2 liter TFSI engine pushes out up to 340 HP to propel a weight of just 1.125 kg.
By means of the so-called push-to-pass function the output of the two-liter TFSI engine can be briefly boosted by 22 kW (30 hp).
Combined with the race oriented geometry and setup of the car, this makes of one very responsive and exciting ride.
German racing ace, Markus Winkelhock, said about this new car “The TT cup is a genuine race car, ideal for rookies, yet challenging to drive." The physics model of the car has been developed in cooperation with the Audi TT drivers, and the whole package, drives, brakes and handles just like the real thing.
This means fantastic close racing is a certainty and you will need to be smart in your use of the push-to-pass feature to gain an advantage and punch a gap to the drivers behind you. Above all, the Audi TT Cup cars are FUN.
Push-to-Pass function The Audi Sport TT Cup car features the so-called “push-to-pass” function, which gives the car an extra engine boost of 22 kW (30 hp) for 10 seconds, followed by a 20 second cooldown phase, before it can be used again.
A blue LED light will signalize when a driver has pressed the push-to-pass button.
Push-to-Pass can be used in all the sessions.
The number of allowed activations during the race is determined by the starting position: Grid rows 1-3: 15 activations Grid rows 4-6: 15+1 activations Grid rows 7-9: 15+2 activations Grid rows 10-12: 15+3 activations
The Audi Sport TT Cup will become available in RaceRoom very soon. Stay tuned!

Paul Jefferies from Race Department sat down and did a 2 part interview with the sector3 devs. The first part talks about some new features coming shortly and what's in the pipeline. I'll admit as a tester for them I was getting quit frustrated with the lack of improvements at the time and put the game on the shelf for a good few months, but after getting an email a few weeks back from the devs in regards to some new content I decided to fire it back up and see if much had changed or if it was just more new content.....and I must say I am pleasantly impressed with the latest physic /ffb update and content and have actually been enjoying and playing more than my other titles, ya there's a few features missing but they don't hide the fact it's still in alpha/beta status and feed us the "it's complete will just continue to upgrade the game, now give us your money like some of the other titles lol What blows me away with this company and how small the team is (26) after the rebuild, layoffs, the move and bankruptcy is how they can continue to purchase top licenses to popular race series? They currently have adac 13-15 and dtm 13-15 with all the rules and tracks as well as wtcc 13-15 and dtm 92 cars....so why can't the bigger dev teams deliver us these packages instead of the random few per class we see in most other games? Anyways with the recent updates, content and black friday "all content for €49" the online lobbies have picked up greatly ( during euro prime times) this title is finally heading in the right direction and looking bright! www.racedepartment.com/threads/sector-3-studios-exclusive-interview-part-1.114420/
