Pick the car that most interests you. Poll closes Sunday night @ midnight. The car chosen will be our car for the year, unless iRacing removes it from the list (which is a possibility for the FGT3 & RUF pending release of upcoming GT3 cars). Current drivers: 1. Chris S. (RE) 2. Dale G. 3. Dave F. 4. David T. 5. Armando E. 6. Sheldon W. Reserve: Link to planning spreadsheet: GBR - 2016 24 Hours of Daytona

I voted but I'll run anything but my least preferred car is the RUF. If I remember correctly I can't get that thing into T1 reliably without looping it at least a couple of times a run so you probably don't want me in it.

I have the same feelings about the RUF. I'm certain that I can not drive that car consistently. Also, are there any team members who would like me to set up a hosted practice session? I have only run in a team event once, with Troy, so I'd like to refresh my memory as to the car swapping.
Does anyone know if each driver can load there own set-up or does everyone have to use the same set-up?
Thanks in advance. I'm really looking forward to this.

Does anyone know if each driver can load there own set-up or does everyone have to use the same set-up? Same set-up for everyone. You are limited to in-car adjustments for personalizing. In the past this has worked out well. I usually just set the brake bias for my turn-in driving style. The only caveat is that you need undo your changes for the next driver before you pit.

Then we need to pick a car soon and definitely need to practice together if we are all going to be running the same basic set-up. Nervous now.

I'm gonna go see if there's a practice server live and try a few cars.

The Corvette DP is fun but difficult on cold tires. I like how it changes direction. Pretty fun through the bus stop although I had too much wing I think.
The Ford GT feels slow and heavy in comparison though all the times we raced it before it was that slow and steady driving of it that got us good finishes!
That's as far as I got before being too tired.

Does anyone have a Daytona set-up for the Z4 that they can share?

I thing Zed has the most seat time in the Z4 although in a earlier build.
BTW, there is a bug with Corvette DP that iRacing is supposed to be patching ASAP. Minor damage (like driving though the grass) will trigger a mandatory repair flag forcing you to pit.

By the way, Chris and/or Troy have always been successful in finding us a stable tune to use.
Just to start this ball rolling... how about Tuesday night for re-familiarizing with driver swaps, etc.

Tuesday is fine for me. I don't get home until 11pm EST, though. So, around 8pm Pacific. I can host it.
I am going to get on shortly and try to find a hosted session. There have been quite a few lately.

OK. Depending on other availability I might start the session at 7 PM Pacific then we can do setup testing. When you jump in we can do driver swaps for a bit, we'll show you how the Crew Chief thing works and you decide if you can work with the setup.
I'm not sure if you know but to test driver swaps we have to join as our team so that means one driver only on track at a time.

Sounds good. I have spotted once before and I'm familiar with the cameras and stuff. I'm sure that whatever car you guys are in the session with will need to be in my garage. I don't own the Ford or the Corvette Prototype, so let me know if I need to pick them up.

I voted Ford for the sake of familiarity but I too can do whatever. I only own the Z4, Ruf, and Ford but can buy if you guys decide another route.
