Just one note to everyone we learned from last year. Make sure you have a button mapped for pit speed limiter even if you don't plan on using it. It is not mapped by default. That is to make sure you can turn it off when you leave the pits if the previous driver had used it.
In one of last years races, a team had a driver come in the pits with the pit speed limiter on. The next driver got in the car, left the pits and was unable to turn it off since he never used it before. So he had to do a complete lap at pit lane speed, go back in the pits, get out of the car, map a button so he could turn it off, then was finally able to get back in the car and drive. It cost their team a lot of time.

Yeah, I'm taking tires. Like I mentioned in my post earlier in this thread. On my first flyer after running the tank dry I suffered a spin at the bus stop chicane.
On a similar note: it seems to me that this setup is tough in tires. Particularly the fronts. The setup has a fairly aggressive rake and the front camber doesn't help matters. I also trail brake the he'll out of this car. But, she is fast in a straight line. 174 mph going into turn 1 on the full power fuel setting. :-)

Sorry I have not been reading this since Sunday - real life and all. I filled in my availability. I can practice any night the rest of the week (I need it!)

Initial driver schedule posted (see "Stints" tab on spreadsheet). Zed & Boza, you two have a "short" turnaround in between your stints (2 hours), let me know if this isn't enough time and I'll reshuffle. Everyone gets 2 full doubles, except for me...which is fine because of my involvement in the calcs towards the end of the race.

So I don't know what to make of tire wear. I did a full fuel run and only used 10% tire. There was a point where the car started to slide around but I drove though it. Lap times in the 2nd half of my run were a little slower but that could be due to the car getting lighter and sliding around.

What's going on with Team Paints? Are we ready with something if TradingPaints has it running for this race?

What's going on with Team Paints? Are we ready with something if TradingPaints has it running for this race? It's not even on my radar. Give that it's not enabled yet, that's not a good sign. I'm far more worried about iRacing itself being able to hold this event. I feel like there's at least a 1-in-4 chance it won't happen. I'm going to set something similar to our usual paint with the iRacing paint tool tonight.

Yeah if Dale can knock out a scheme in the iR painter that is all we need.

Helios, I hope you don't mind I plagiarized your google doc format for my team.

Yeah if Dale can knock out a scheme in the iR painter that is all we need. Should be one there now in the white/red/black theme. We can do up a proper paint for the next race.

Understood on the paint thing. I guess we'll just have to see. and fingers crossed that iRacing holds up.
Chris, how can I get the GBR skin for the HPD?

How about I reply instead of edit. I'll send it to you. I need to make a tweak as it still has Boza's name on it. I'll just need to hide that layer and add a new layer w/ yours. If I don't get to it this weekend, shoot me a reminder on Monday. I need to get a skin finished before Sunday for the Pacific Majors race.

10-4 Chris. Thanks.
Pacific Majors, eh? I've watched a lot of those races. Where's is the info for that series? I'm curious.

It used to be a Northwest Club event series. It was expanded last year to include California, West, & Texas in addition to Northwest, for which the Pac4 league was formed. I don't think Mike has any plans to expand it unless we have trouble filling the grid...and considering we're up to 2 splits for a lot of the races, I doubt that will happen soon. members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/3342311.page
