I'd lost track of all the discussions on that. Hm... I can not believe that they'd not put the two new German GT3 cars into this event.

Maybe those two as a class and a couple of others for the additional classes. They would be slower cars in order to keep within the realm of the real race. Just wanted to put it out there since we'd assume to run the McLaren.

Hopefully they put out an official decision at least 4 weeks ahead of the event.

At first read a very disappointing selection of cars With those cars would almost think they were planning to do 24hrs of time trials using the tourist layout...

iRacing has posted details. Audi R8, Ruf C-spec, Kia Optima, Mazda MX-5 So the Mclaren isn't available... it's time to pick a car.

Sounds like I may be buying a car lol. I only have the Ruf and the Miata (duh). I have never run the Ruf in a race and would love to have a reason but I think one or two of you may hate it.

I don't know why I insist on calling it a Miata when it's not lol

Those that have the Kia, take it for a couple laps, and let me know what you think. It's a bunch of fun around here.
I like the RUF, but I think the Kia will be easier to be consistent in. If need be, we can always run the Miata.

I'm not digging the Kia at all, I tried to like it but not feeling it. My vote would be for the Audi or the Ruf.

I have tried the Kia several times, but don't like it at all. Being a retired Marine, the initials K.I.A. don't work for me either. I almost didn't buy the car, but the 30% discount has paid off, so I really had to get it.
My first choice is the Audi. I would also agree with the MX5 or the RUF in that order.

My preference is the Audi or RUF. I'm neutral on the Kia and not feeling the MX-5 for endurance length drives. Though, I would need a pretty stable tune for the RUF because I usually end up looping it into the wall at some point.

I am contemplating joining you guys for this but I need to learn and get alot better at the ring as I am terrible there and don't wanna ruin the race for others. As for cars my choice is the Ruf, absolutely love that car and once I found some tunes from niel powers using the setup sync I found that car was glued to the ground and allowed me to get on the throttle early and power out of corners.

Can you post a tune for it? Small chance we can have two teams in two different classes.
