rufrt_Track (1.87 KB) hopefully i did that right. I also just checked my new summer schedule and i am working that week fri to mon so i doubt ill be able to participate. If i can it will only be for an hr or 2 between 11 am and 2 pm.

I am super busy with work this week. How about Thu April 21 for a Ring orientation night. I'll take everyone around at a medium pace and point out some areas of interest which will help a lot to learn the track then we can do a couple of faster laps. Should take about 30 minutes.

Edit: I was just looking at the Calendar and noticed that weekend I will be at the Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania for the NASCAR Races, so I won't be able to race with you guys. I had already planned this trip a while ago. I will help test and tune for you though. I will be staying at my friends house who also has iRacing, so I will be able to jump on TS3 and check on your progress.
I took the Audi for a test drive around the ring this weekend. If we do use that car, we need to find a setup that can handle curbs. The setup I had was allergic to curbs. Every time I barely brushed a curb, it threw the car sideways and there is usually something to hit not too far from the track.
I was able to run a couple of clean laps, but it takes a lot of concentration to keep the car off the curbs because they are everywhere.
I haven't tested the RUF yet. I did run some races there in the RUF cup, but that was fixed tune. I will try the tune Kurupt posted.

I'm currently running the R8 for a 2.4HR race coming up next week. I will forward on the set that I wind up with there. It's still not a curb friendly car, but I can at least trail-brake with it now w/o the ass end trying to beat the front to the corner.
I'm finding myself wanting to run a lot of diff pre-load in this car (50%ish).

About a month to go. We should lock down the car. Also I should get off my ass and setup a Ring training session.

Just a reminder "Ring Training" is mostly for those that don't know the track and want a little help with learning parts of the track. A few people mentioned earlier in this thread that they didn't know the track.
All are welcome though! Likely it'll be 6:30 PM for two hours, drop in and leave as you wish.
