Thanks for the replay, Chris. So I would call the first incident a racing incident. I think I gave him space and was following the line of the kink. He's passing me so he needs to keep it clean. The second one is either blatant or he's an idiot. He proceeds to yell ont he radio, which I didn't hear because I always have comms muted AND send me a PM cursing me out and saying I am an idiot and a rookie. Gotta love iRacing!!

The 1st incident was his fault. It appears that you had nowhere else to go and you didn't make any sudden moves. He had the inside line so he could have overtaken you without contact.
The second incident is deliberate. Screw him, He is an ass.
I will say that his actions aren't really reflective of iRacing as a whole. I have very rarely seen that type of behavior, in my experience. It's particularly surprising in that series since the license requirement is pretty high. It's certainly not a "rookie" series.

I was was really pissed but was going to let it go. When I received the PM I asked Chris for the replay. Once I saw the replay and received more insults I protested both his PM and the actions on track. He tells me I only have 20 starts this season to his 754 so I am a rookie. I think my last response quieted him up. I think I received four messages in total. That was the first time I ever experienced anything like that or even considered a protest. Shit, I only sent it in because of his BS. Keep an eye out for him. Fabio Aoki. Feel free to take him out for me!

That's when he started his rant that I am a rookie because of my 20 starts this year to his 754. I am surprised I even have that many. How the F does anyone have time to do that many races? I have to force myself to go down to the rig and use it to relax lol |

Yeah, I have seen Fabio in almost all of our sessions. I remember him being a very aggressive driver. I believe he was the driver I had the incident with at Zandvoort. that incident was my fault though. He is aggressive though.

Pro tip for Road Atlanta...start from the pits. I qualled 11th, which put me right in the middle of a 27 car field. Wasn't comfortable there after my last race attempt here so I opted to start from the pits once I saw nearly everyone grid up. Turns out to be the smartest move I made all night. There was a big crash at T1 that was triggered by P2 & P3. Probably caught up 7-8 cars. A couple more cars had spun off and found the armco by the end of L1. By the time I got to the S/F line I was already up to P17. Slowly and methodically picked my way through the backmarkers, as well as watched a couple more cars go spinning off, I finished the race w/ 1 incident point & P9. Still on the lead lap!  |

I'll be running tonight. Just need 1 more race in FR2.0 & V8SC to get my 8 races for the season for credits. First time I've earned any credits in probably 2 years...and first time earning credits in 2 series in 1 season ever. Need to get some creds to offset some of the Lemans cost.  |
