Rookie Truck series in an unofficial series. Street Stock, I believe, is the only way out of Rookie

I agree - I actually did a Street Stock race yesterday to try to get my D license. Started from the pits and four guys crashed right at pit exit. I had to disable chat because of the banter. There were many brain-cells missing.

Stay with it. It should not take long to get yourself out of Rookie class. The MPR is 4 races and by then, assuming no major incidents, you should be good to go. Once you get to D I would be happy to join you in a race if we can manage to get into the same session. Let me know.
BTW, Oval racing can get quite addictive. lol

I've actually been enjoying the Oval racing asides from the left side of my neck is kinda sore lol The new mazda mx-5 is fantastic, the turn in, balance and 4 wheel drifting with zero understeer is amazing and feels very natural. I wish more cars felt that good as alot of them have brutal understeer
I also figured out how to move the onscreen widgets shift+k

There are 3 unofficial race series now, Carb Cup, Pickup Cup, and Dallara Dash. They are all just a way to have fun without affecting your iRating or safety rating.
This week the Rookie Street Stocks are at Charlotte which is the easiest track to avoid incidents. Just wait until the grid countdown reaches zero and says missed start. Then click on it which will put your car in your pit stall. You will be held there for a few seconds after the race starts, then allowed to come out on track. Just take it easy, avoid all contact and you should have your D license in 3 or 4 races.

thanks for the info! Tho i never start in the pits....its just not racing too me, never done it in any other sim and not gonna start now just to protect some rating. One thing i truely hate about iracing, i did 4 races today and in one race i had 9 incidents because the guy behind was drafting me and nudging my bumper. They need to figure out a way to eliminate small contacts, especially when its caused by someone from behind and only record major hits resulting in a spin or damage to car plus rework there track cutting as id like to see something along the lines of RRE cut detection which allows 2 wheels off track to help promote going 2 wide on a street courses or if you get pushed wide your not held at fault.

Kurupt-starting in the pits is the best way. Your only goal is to get out of rookie class and get that D license. You run a real risk of getting mixed up in some nonsense at the start of the race. Having to do it all again will really hurt. Just try to think of it as getting familiar with things. Troy is right. If you can manage to avid the trouble you can be up in D or even C in no time. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah the point is to get out of rookie even though I am not sure I would buy any oval content

I don't mind the short track stuff so much. But the big NASCAR ovals...no thank you. Going to try to stomach 5 or 6 this year for the Pacific Majors series. That will be over my oval allotment for 2016. Not knocking you guys that like oval. I just can't get into it. The bigger the track, the faster I get bored.
