I finally got my old RF2 over on Steam, paid for the online subscription, downloaded the Celica and track Got on your server with Rich last night and ran around a bit. I may just have to join you guys on Oct. 5th.
My RF2 had run out about 2years ago and didn't see much need re-pay for a subscription to update because the FPS never got better with new builds. Well after the Steam conversion and the latest build installed I'm finally seeing consistent 70 to 80 FPS, far better than before, I was only getting 25 to 55 FPS.

I'm not sure when it happened but a while ago ISI fixed a couple of things that were really hurting frame rates. There's still a few problematic things like reflections and heat haze (only available for a few cars) but those are easy to tweak. |

70 or 80 FPS will do just fine. I have mine capped at 100, and it's excellent.
Good to see another driver joining the fray.

Reflections I need to tweak, there stuttery and jaggy when going across the hood of the car. |

Who is ready to go round and round at Sandown? Hope everybody can make it out tonight. A short track that doesn't have many places to pass will be great with 10+ drivers.
